I rarely go on a website trip on Saturdays at high noon. We came here for a lunch meeting to organize an event for my son’s school nearby. This place has been much talked about and been been long well known at this side of the metropolis. The food stuff we ordered were ok but not that special. I’m just going to give them plus points for the home-cooked feel of the food. I didn’t like the sisig rice because of the liver slices. I only like liver as a flavoring. I don’t like the mouth feel and smell of liver slices and bits. The interior design is very, very relaxing. The decors have a “grand pa home” feel that I got really really sleepy while waiting for the meeting to end. Got to order brewed coffee now.

After braving the traffic in EDSA, we decided to eat at Pan De Amerikana. Kinda dark once you get inside, the lights are too dimmed. (Refer to my picture, I already adjusted the brightness tho) But you will get entertain by the different displays they got there, especially the big chess board. We ordered Ilokano Pinakbet (P 55.00), Batchoy (P 90.00), Dinakdakan (P 90.00) and 3 Rice (30/each). We waited for a little longer than we expected, only to be served Pinakbet with over cooked veggies and a bit salty. The Dinakdakan is different from the Dinakdakan I tasted before, vinegar blended right with the meat. The Batchoy completed my meal, the broth and pork innards are very tasty. And for the Rice, for the price of 30 pesos, they should have better tasting rice.. Good Service, servers are very attentive. Price is reasonable.

The place is a lil bit dark. The food was served cold but still tastes good. Foods are kinda pricey. Staffs were good but when there is a lot of guest, i think staffs are not enough.

Pan De Amerikana has a cozy rustic ambience. The food is surprisingly affordable despite the taste and place. Their customer service is also good. I can’t say anything bad except for their steep parking space. Would still go back there for sure.

My family and I went here for lunch after a visit from the cemetery since it is near the area. I’ve heard about and been to Pan de amerikana when I was young because I have relatives residing near the area. We always buy the freshly baked pandesals. Anyway on our recent visit, we ordered the family platter which consist of liempo, barbeque, tilapia, squid, shrimp, tahong and veggies like okra, eggplant & kangkong. We also ordered sisig rice and chicken meal for the kids. Our total bill was 1300 and it was definitely worth it, value for money and we were really full. The place is really beautiful, every corner is picture worthy and I love the music playlist. Will probably come back next time ang try their merienda meals and pandesal sandwiches.

on a Sunday morning with my youngest son, we also get to play and enjoy their oversized chessboard while waiting for our food which i lost by the way, the food is really good, coffee is even better, no mosquito and the place still smells fresh even if it is alrwady crowded. Will definitely come back for more

Ambiance is nice but the portion of the food is pretty small for my appetite. Rice is not good also. It might be the quality of rice.Waiters are attentive. Lots of space at the restaurant to look around. Pandesal is also big and tasty.

The ambience was great! We enjoyed the music they played, which is very relaxing. The food was not great, but ok na kasi mura naman at accommodating ang mga staff.

Pan De Amerikina is one of our family's favorite. We often go here for lunch and merienda. Love the Caldereta and liempo. We like the breads too. We always buy it for pasalubong. Ambience is really nice too :)
