Ambiance. Tried some Japanese collections of red to feel the ambiance of the restaurant. Though, I think some of the furnitures are not quite related to the theme of the restaurant. However, the foods we ordered were awesome! I like their Kani salad and Gyoza. Overall, something na babalikan-balikan ko to taste other menus, like ramen and rice meals. 👍🏼

I got a lot of fave food in this place! My current fave though is their spicy beef thin slice. Super well seasoned and the beef is tender. No unnecessary rubber like ligaments. Haha.Spicy and sweet and flavourful. Just the way I like it.If you are into spicy foods, I recommend this.As for the rolls. My all time fave here is the salmon roll.I just like how the taste is well balanced. You will get 4 rolls with cucumber and 4 rolls with salmon. The cucumber is just refreshing and just the right partner for the salmon's succulence.I find the price worth it for the taste and the serving. And with just these 2 dishes, super busog na ko. They got big rice servings. Be prepared though coz they got a small space. both parking and dining area.

Great food and affordable but not so good service. I was very shocked as how the waitress's treat their customers. She never smiles and believe me, she even rolled her eyes when one of the customers was being friendly asking if "masarap ba yung gyoza?" With a smile on her face. I will never go back if not because of their crispy California maki which me and my husband really like. poor service!!

We were just so hungry and was looking for a non food chain resto when we passed by at Shoe Ave. Then we saw this small Japanese themed food hub. They have wide choices on their.menu and ordered Kani Salad with Mangoes..serving was just enough for 2 persons and the dressing was just right. I had an ebi tempura bento..portions was huge and satisfying although the free red ice tea was a bit small. I wasn't able to finish the fried rice. Yes what was served was fried rice. I was just wondering why the rice was not the usual white sticky rice lol!But its ok it was delicioso. Also tried their california maki and it was also ok, the rolls are sticked enough unlike other japanese resto wherein the rice bits are falling off. Staff was also helpful..yes will def.come back 😊

I've tried Murakami because it was recommended by a friend who lives in Marikina because I love maki rolls. I have been there twice and ordered Pork Katsu Bento Box for 180 pesos, california maki roll, and their crispy california maki roll. Their food presentation and the quality of the food does not disappoint even though they sell their products for a lower price unlike other japanese restaurants around the metro. 👌🏽
