January 19, 2018After a job interview, we decided to eat around Marikina City. We came across Manila Wings after learning that the place we wanted to visit originally was closed. Checklist: ✔️Parking✔️Air- conditioned ✔️Comfort RoomPLACE- 4The restaurant is located at Lilac, a street in Marikina filled with small restaurants and businesses. Parking slots are available (CAUTION: the parking spaces are a bit steep). There is also a clean comfort room inside the restaurant. The place only accepts cash as a form of payment. PEOPLE- 4The servers were attentive and the service was fast! (Though there were only a few costumers dining at that time). They had a nice retro style with different movie posters to make you feel nostalgic.FOOD- 1.Chili Con Fiesta NachosThe serving was very generous, both chips and toppings! They have perfect nacho, cheese, and toppings ratio. The their cheese went well with the fish. The toppings was composed of melted cheese, beef and some vegetables. The chips on the other hand were unique than any other nachos we had because it was colored with pink and purple. Very colorful indeed. At first it was awkward to eat it as I was expecting it to taste differently but it did not. Overall, this is a good appetizer! -Kat2.Classic Sili Wings (6 pcs.)This is their take on the classic buffalo wings with their own pinoy twist. The sauce was perfect. It wasn't to spicy and it had a bit of sweetness to it that wasn't nakakaumay. The chicken also retained its crunch despite being drench in their sili sauce. Would go definitely well with rice! Only wish they had a ranch dip or something to complement the chicken wings. -Rome3.Special Garlic Parmesan Wings (6 pcs.)This garlic parmesan flavor is different from the usual garlic parmesan wings in other restaurants. The “garlic parmesan” flavoring was made into a creamy type sauce that covered the wings. The sauce was a bit sweet for my liking and it somewhat tasted like salted egg. The chicken on the other hand retained it’s crunch despite being covered with the sauce. I suggest you eat this on it’s own because the sauce does not compliment rice very well.Do we recommend? Yes we do! If you’re looking for an affordable wings place, this is definitely the place for you! Will definitely come back to try more flavors!!!#foodporn #website #foodreviews #foodmatters #foodmnl #foodphotography #philippines #foodmnl #manilawings #foodbeast #chickenwings #siliwings #garlicparmesan #chiliconcarne #nachos #nachocheese #theeatcrediblesph

Manila Wings offers some of the most flavorful dishes ever! My favorite among their chicken wing flavors is the calamansi pepper because of its nice sour-spicy mix. May kilig! I also love their burrito rice bowls because of their hefty serving sizes and deliciousness! They have a good rice-meat-vegetable ratio and good pricing ranging from P165-P185. So filling, especially the 3-meat burrito bowl! My ultimate favorite would be their grilled cheese squares!!! Ugh so buttery and cheesy, aroma pa lang, my mouth waters already! They could still improve the T-bone steak, though, as it was a little bit tough and the marinade used is just so-so. I love the overall feel of the place because it has a nostalgic vibe and makes you think you're at an American diner. :)

Manila Wings, heard a lot about this shop & so It's my turn to taste and savor their burgers.. So for starters , we ordered their ultimate nachos & sili wings. For the nachos, too dry for me. We had a hard time enjoying it since they used mozzarella it easily hardened since it got cold - not a favorite for me. The sili wings is just okay but not a blockbuster for me. For their burgers, we tried island burger and manila kingpin, i love the island burger because i love pineapples .. although the break is a little bit tough. The manila kingpin burger is dry. I can say that their burger's stuffed with meat but its kinda overcooked so that is why it is dry. We also tried bottomless iced tea, its just ok. we did not try dessert anymore because were stuffed already and its already late.

So the rumors are true. Their wings are to die for. Lol. But seriously tho. They're really good. I tried the original one (forgot what they named it) and the honey garlic. I'm gonna come back and try the sili wings.

The place? It was fancy. The wings?- tried the original and honey garlic, it was ok, savory and full of flavor. The burgers? Tried two burgers with bacon and it cant go wrong as long as there is bacon in it hehe. Overall it is 3.5 out of 5 for me.

50's Diner ambiance, it was nice and neat. Well ventilated. There's a TV blaring loudly all over the place, not good for conversations.Wait staff are courteous and prompt. Attentive, snappy given it's dinner time.We ordered Salpilog, Manila Wings and Home Made Fries.Salpilog was done and seasoned just right, not too overpowering. It was good. The Manila Wings were a hint of butter, sweet and tangy and a little spicy kick to it. The fries were very salty that it started to numb my tongue.Overall, not totally impressed, of you are in the Kapitolyo Area, you might as well go to Wishbone.

Been here twice. The garlic parmesan wings is super yummy. Ordered it twice coz i dont want to risk my money. Next time I'll order the Sili wings. Thumbs up also for their super crunchy fried. ❤️ Its a little bit pricey but reasonable. I'll give it a 5 sana but the last time we went, the waitress was more attentive to a soap opera in their TV than to the customers. Next time will try more dishes.

You have to try their original Manila Wings recipe. I would recommended getting the 24pcs. of wings bunch to try all the flavors. Serving takes quite a while though.

The Honey Garlic chicken wings is the best one (for me).. If you're looking for your comfort food, then Manila Wings would give it to you ☺️

I came here with my friends and we ordered wings, poutine and sisig. Their sisig has too much vegetables 🥒 so could barely taste the meat The actual wings were fine But the poutine is so good you can just order that and be utterly satisfied
