Having heard so much about them from different local Food TV shows, Mama Chit's has been on my "to try" list for a while. Got a regular cheeseburger, club house sandwich, and a hotdog wrap. We also got crisscut fries and onion rings on the side. You see I love burgers, but my burger was nothing to write home about. It was just okay. A little overdone, but I wasn't in a place to complain or care really. The Hotdog wrap with cucumbers, lettuce, tomatoes, was surprisingly good and hit the spot. I also enjoy their size of the club house sandwich; I could actually finish it and feel full but not near the 'I hate myself' kind of full. Onion rings were large and crispy. The service was okay but overall, Mama Chit's was pretty much a hit or miss. I'll be back with hopes of improvement.#TheFoodCrawlers

A lot of my friends in Marikina would give me a surprised, almost like what-the-f-you're-from-Marikina look whenever they learn that I haven't tried Mama Chit's. Well, I have visited it finally, and I must say, there's nothing rave worthy about the place naman. Sure it has a nostalgic vibe and cheap food, but the taste? Meh. The onion rings were good, though, as well as the mango shake. The cheeseburger and clubhouse sandwich were just ordinary tasting, and the burger patty is so freaking slim. Not good for a voracious omnivore. Lol. I'd come back, but I wouldn't frequent the place.

Just like Rustic Mornings by Isabelo, Mama Chit's is but a few paces away from Marikina Museum. The range of memorabilia is just awesome - the old LP records, the soda bottles, diner signs full of chirpy copy, old bottle labels, photos of Manila, I could go on and on. You're going to find things to look at over and over, and still discover something new every time that you visit. We ordered a nice cold mango shake, a club sandwich and a burger, onion rings; and while I don't find anything particular special about the food, I think it's simply because there's no need to make more of it than it is. It's a treasure trove of memorabilia, and older friends and relatives you can bring here might start telling you stories about their youth you'd never heard of. Sometimes all it takes is the right trigger.

good ambiance. good food but a bit pricey. Would have been better if they didn't give us plastic fork + paper plate. such a mess when eating.

So we went to Mama Chit's after class. While going there we got lost (to the point I live in Marikina and the place is also in Marikina) because their place is tago. The place is near to Imelda Marcos shoe museum. So we ordered their largest burger and it really wowed us because of their taste and also my friend really loves the ketchup. He said it's not like the typical ketchup in fast food or in other places. Staff - 3/5Food - 4/5Place - 4.5/5Location - 3/5
