Food was okay. The ramen had a strong smell to it and the chasu was dry. The place has a comfortable look but their sound system is too loud and ended up talking (shouting) to each other louder than usual.

The ramen here is okay, but their karaage is definitely a must try! 😊 It's crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside. The meat is perfectly cooked. Definitely satisfied because of this!

I liked their karaage – paired with their premium-tasting mayo, it was good! Their paitan ramen tasted nice too, albeit a bit salty. My husband found it fine though. Will be back to try their other food and definitely for their karaage.

We tried the chicken paitan ramen. Walang lasa. Water lang yung sabaw tapos hindi remarkable at all yung noodles and chicken mismo. Ambience is regular filipino restaurant, nothing special.

Took us a little while to find the place (and we are from Marikina - insert face palm here). It's tucked away in a corner of a not so busy street and there were only a few cars parked since it was a lazy weekend afternoon. The place is small with wooden furnishings. You could also peek through the glass enclosure of the kitchen while they prepare your order. We ordered the Chicken Paitan Ramen, the Chicken Paitan Chashumen and the Spicy Chicken Paitan Chashumen. Plus the Gyoza and Karaage. The Green Tea Ice Cream was not available. I do not know if it was a blessing in disguise.Sorry, but my knowledge of Japanese cuisine is limited to the likes of the fried ones like the tempura and katsu. Per my experience, the broth tasted seafood-y, if there is even a word. The noodles were cooked just right but if you leave it longer in the broth it will turn soggy before you are even finished. But the serving is very filling. If I knew that fact beforehand I would have ordered only two bowls, one for the Princess and one for me and hubby. The gyoza was okay and the karaage was crispy on the outside, tender on the inside (cliche, I know) though it was a tad oily.Service was fast and friendly. I remember the server suggesting to provide the spice separately since we cannot decide on how spicy we want our order to be. It turned out to be a good suggestion because it was, indeed, spicier than we were used to.To conclude, ambience could use some help, place is cramped. Food, generous servings. Service, fast and friendly.

We came here around 4 in the afternoon on a weekday. Not much people, of course. Heads up that place is relatively small. Can seat about 15-20 people. Place is okay, CR is clean. It's just scary cause you'll see that's where they keep their gas tanks as well.I ordered the gyoza and spicy miso chashumen ramen. Gyoza is okay, small in size, comes with the price. Didn't like that much what I ordered. I can't understand the taste that much. Flavors were against each other. But it's okay, tolerable. My mom, on the other hand, ordered Karage. I liked this one. The crunchiness and flavor of the Karage exceeds its price. This one I can say is worth to order.Well, this food place is okay. Especially when you're on a budget mode and craving for ramen.

Had the Chicken Paitan ramen and was a bit disappointed. This place had always piqued my interest as I always pass this place on the way home. Place seemed quaint and interesting. The day I finally tried, I was a bit underwhelmed. Broth was bland and watery. Noodles seemed ready-made. It's quite affordable, though. So, if you're looking for a quick, cheap ramen fix, then I guess this place would be perfect for you. Very limited parking spots.

This is still the best Ramen House for me. Aside from its homey feeling, staffs are very friendly and Ramen are very affordable! Also when it comes to the taste, I don't know but all I can say is that every sip of the soup feels like home (Though since Day 1, my favorite is their Spicy Chicken Paitan Chashumen + Chicken Karaage + Pork Tonkatsu) ugh best combo specially when it's raining outside. There are a lot of Ramen house that I've tried including the most famous here in the Ph but Happon Ramen House in Marikina still occupies the biggest part of my heart. I hope this branch will stay open forever please :(Sincerely,Your No. 1 fan *below are some photos from my IG account (incomplete though because I often post to my IG story and I wasn't able to save one but hey look! I've been a fan of this Ramen House for almost 3 years already haha)

Been to local Ramen places in Marikina and would not recommend this place. The gyoza in not stuffed well and is very oily. Noodles are not firm. The taste of the broth is not as good.
