POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. WORST GERRY’S GRILL BRANCH WE’VE EVER BEEN TO. My family and I decided to dine here after attending church. We chose this restaurant ‘cause we know they serve good Filipino food. Plus, Gerry’s has always been our go-to place for celebrations especially birthdays. The one in Tomas Morato is by far my favorite branch. But this one at SM Marikina is totally disappointing. • We were almost done with our meal and yet no glasses of water were served until we asked for it. Correct me if I’m wrong but isn’t this a basic for a restaurant customer service?? To serve water to customers even when not asked?• I asked if they sing to birthday celebrants since we wanted to surprise my 6-year old cousin. They said yes. Made several follow ups even to the restaurant supervisor/manager but they just served the complimentary dessert for the celebrant. Not even a “happy birthday” was said. So, thanks for spoiling the surprise. • Staff is snob and unaccommodating.We came in happy and excited, we went out disappointed. 😒

Gerry's Grill has been one of our favorite restaurant when it comes to Filipino food - we've been here back and forth, whenever there is an occasion it's our go-to place. I like the super Pinoy ambiance and vibe but one thing that is consistent is their inconsistency,First off, I love their grilled squid - it's my favorite and I would go back just for this dish. It's very flavorful and combined with Pinoy sauce (soy sauce+chili+calamansi) is the way to go. Although in some occasion their squid was rubbery and not fresh, I really hope they keep it consistent when it comes to cooking the squid.Crispy pata is okay, nothing special - it's not that tender per se but it's savory.One of our biggest disappointment is when we ordered Beef Caldereta. My mom is a great cook, greater than any other chefs I've worked with. When our Beef Caldereta arrived, it has this tangy taste to it and the smell is funny. My mom told us that the beef is not fresh to the point that it's dangerous to eat. She confronted the manager discreetly and they just told us that they will provide another Beef Caldereta, like no way! Instead they just scratch it off the receipt, we did not pay for it and the manager did not even come back to talk to us or provided us their action plan, it was like nothing happened. For that, we never returned, disappointed as it seems but the service is poor - we prefer the Gerry's Grill in Eastwood.Let's rate them shall we? When craving for Filipino food, this is one of your best options. Through the years, they still retained the same good service and flavor of their food. Food orders were cooked well and served pretty fast. Very warm and accommodating servers as well. Definitely recommended!

This is always our favorite Filipino restaurant. We love the honest menu true to Filipino cuisine. Price points are very reasonable and customer service in this branch is great

Polite waiters and good food. I tried sisig with garlic rice. I love it. I'll surely return with my family on weekends. This restaurant is highly recommended.

If you want real satisfying delicious (minus the fusion oa) Filipino meal, You should to this Gerrys Grill Marikina branch. This is by far the cleanest and yummiest branch. The staff and manager are very attentive and accomodating. The grilled baby squid is delicious! The all time favourite sisig with egg is the best of all. The pinakbet is good too and their sinigang could be better. The karekare sauce is always good. Their rice (plain or garlic) is also very good not too oily for the garlic and quite tasty on its own. Their gulaman sago is also good. The only complain i havefor this particular visit was the fly for some reason it keeps flying to our table. But overall i would keep coming back here.

Still great through the years. Homey comfort food at affordable prices. Don't miss the adobo puso rice paired with sisig and lomi on the side. :)
