The Empire Fashion Cafe is located on the second floor of a building along Lilac Street, an emerging website haven in the heart of Marikina City. It is a fashion boutique and coffee shop, though much more floorspace is devoted to retail compared to the coffee shop. We ordered a chocolate fudge milkshake and the chocolate "freak shake". The chocolate "freak shake" looked really Instagram-pretty, but the flavor and quality of both milkshakes was just okay. Also, the person who took our order and who we think prepares the freak shakes was probably having a bad day. We felt that he was discouraging us from ordering the freak shake because it took too long to prep. We didn't give him too much grief at that moment, but moments like these leave the wrong impression on customers and might have an impact on repeat business. My suggestion is for the owners to focus on retail and to rationalize its menu.

The place is over rated and i dont know why people even bother coming here. First of all, the clothes are expensive. I could go to the mall and probably find better quality clothes at the same price. 😒 Second, THE CAKE. I dont really know how to describe it. I tried the rainbow cake. Not going back.

We tried their cake, there is nothing special about it and I think it is a bit pricy for a cake, their cafe have only 3 table that i think can occupy less than 10 person. But the store shop is good, there are different stuff you can see.

Yay! Found my new fashion haven and a cafe in one. I love the interior that is photo worthy. It's a nice place to have a little chat and shopping with my kikay sisters.

Empire Fashion Cafe is one of the joints along Lilac.  This is not an avant garde x John Galliano x Viktor and Rolf themed cafe,  it is a store with a built-in cafe inside.   Customers can buy stuff while waiting for their food.  Some of the brands they carry are local ones.   They have a wide array of cosmetics - even Kylie and Colourpop. I insisted on swinging by for sweets.  I saw an IG post a couple of weeks back...cant remember the details but it is green.  I go by one principle when green is involved.  If it's green,  it must be matcha. | Matcha Milkshake (php 155).   It is sacrilegious to call this a matcha infused drink.   I dont taste matcha,  not an iota of it.   It is an ice blended drink with some artificial food coloring.   All i taste is milk and sugar,  to make things worst - even the ice is not thoroughly blended.   I let out a sad sigh and thought of Murphy's Law.  This drink is probably is NOT designed for Matcha Lovers.   I guess there's this one person who has never heard of matcha would one day visit Empire and will claim that the milkshake is good.  I shall patiently wait for that moment.  Too much negativity,  my bad.  Before writing this,  i even convinced myself that it is not so bad.  Then i remembered,  i shelled out php 155 for a matcha wannabee.  I would've got my money's worth in Starbucks.   It bothers me that they had the audacity to charge customers this amount for a sad looking liquid.   Will i go back?  Yes,  i will...not for food though,  but for Colourpop and Kylie.

Just visited their boutique/cafe yesterday. I can say the interiors is impressive. Concept wise, i don't find it appealing because the clothes are everywhere and people are always lurking around and it is a bit bothersome to me. It would have been nice if they created their own clothes or items than out source because most of the items can be bought in greenhills but for a cheaper price. When it comes to food, the frappes are awesome. However, i find it too pricey for their portion size. I ordered java chips for take out and i was disappointed that i payed 135php for a small size frappe, like literally small. :( their staff are a little snobish, they don't greet you or even acknowledge. (I visited with no customers at that time) and they are always talking and chatting which is okay buy i hope they would lower their voices since they have guests.Overall, will i be back? Probably when i am within the vicinity but it wouldn't be on the top of my list. :)

I came to this cafe to try their iced drinks and check out the shop. It is a relatively new concept for me. Since they have the cafe inside the shop. I check out one of the shops with crafts in it and then decided to have their Macha. It was ok. I was alone so I did not order any of the cakes. They look yummy though. I will be taking My beasties here soon so we can try some of the cakes. I did not really like the music selection playing in the background which did not suit the cafe theme. All in all I like the concept and would revise my view after I try out their cakes.

Lots of good find...loved the concept of this cafe. Nice outside sitting too. I ordered peppermint iced coffee after shopping for P120 only to sip on coffee flavored whipped cream on tons of ice. More coffee and less cream next time, please.

The rating is just for these two cakes I ordered -- not as great as they look. The Rainbow Cake was disappointing coz of its dry texture and bad flavor. The Chocolate Mud Cake was better than the former but still didn't pass my standards in terms of flavor, chocolatiness, and chewiness.Good thing my main intent of going there was to check the eye specs I've been searching for since it's a fashion house. I didn't completely waste my time after all.

This my 3rd visit already. The place is nice to go with friends esp girlfriends. You can find chic clothes & cute stuff. The first one was just a plain visit which I was able to buy Missha perfect eyebrow styler. Second one was with my relatives which I ordered Cappuccino and Toblerone cake, to me is ok. Nothing extravagant. Now we ordered Caramel Machiato, Tiramizu and Iced Mocha. I can still say, I liked Toblerone cake better.
