Value for Money (1.0) - I came with high expectations as I heard a few positive feedback about Cheddar Burst. Its all pure disappointment when I left. Let's go to the good side first, the beef patty is great. 100 pure beef! However, the size of the burger is too small for the price that you are paying for. I rather visit Fat Daddy or even Smack Shack to experience more quality burger and paying for less. Next, they are promoting this unlimited fries and drinks. Guess what, after you consume the initial they will proactively offer to give you another batch but when you consume the next batch they will just ignore and decline to give another set. ITS PURE FALSE MARKETING.Customer Service (1.0) - This is the worst customer service that I have experience in a long time. When I came there with my wife and taking our orders, all the male crew are peeping from the kitchen. They are doing the same act even to other lady customers. SUCH DISRESPECTFUL! Listen, these guys are paid to provide quality service and yet all they are doing is to watch and fantasized pretty lady customers! There is no single reason for me in returning to Cheddar Burst. Such a waste of money and time!

It was one of those lazy Sundays at home, had leftovers for brunch, and we slept in most of the day. Hunger pangs hit us towards early evening and it was agreed that burgers were in order after a lengthy discussion on food choices. Being Eastside residents (Marikina side) we are fortunate to have a good number of options. So I typed in "burgers Lilac" to search and a few places popped up. Cheddar Burst kinda stood out so we went there.It's located on the 2nd floor of a pretty new building along Lilac Street. The place was simple and well lit, there was another family having their very early dinner when we arrived. After approaching the counter and looking at the menu, I wanted to try their most basic and simple item, I find that this is the best way to judge an establishment. We were informed however that only their Juicy Lucy burger options were available, which happens to be their specialty. I settled on the Just A Lucy 1/3 lb meal with a bottomless iced tea upgrade, my wife and daughter both had the American Juicy Lucy 1/3 lb meal with one of them getting a bottomless iced tea upgrade as well, while my son got the Bacon Mushroom Lucy 1/2 lb meal.It took awhile for our food to arrive since it was cooked fresh, so my family and I had a bit of time to shoot the breeze and inspect things. We observed that the table we were at was quite dirty, the place mats were oily and grimy probably from the days use. This did not bother us much though coz we were more intent on the quality of the food that we were anticipating. I'm sure these cleanliness issues will improve in time.Soon enough, our burgers arrived and honestly we were all happy and satisfied with our meals! Even if they made a mistake on mine by making it into a Cheesy Lucy, I was hoping for a pure unadulterated Juicy Lucy. :-) The burgers were indeed juicy, cheesy, quite beefy, and tasty! The fries were good too, very homey and comforting just the way we like it! Too bad the ones that came with our meals were not hot anymore, they probably cooked them too early. Anyway, we all got a better french fries fix by ordering an extra "large" order. This time it was piping hot perfect! Overall, very satisfying burgers! A bit pricey, yes. We would gladly come back again and again of course... ;-) Oh, a tip though, be sure to use the plastic gloves provided on each table. Eating their Juicy Lucy burgers is a pretty messy glorious affair. Enjoy!
