Now here's one place you'd have found me hanging out in after work if I didn't work at night. Great food, booze, al fresco dining - all you need to wind down after a day or week of work. But this time, I went for a website Meet Up and it was before going to work. One thing is for sure - they got the most important thing right - the food. Here are my favorites:1. Crocodile Sisig - Not your usual sisig; a lot more lean meat, but with as much flavor and the right amount of heat2. Chimichangas - perfectly crisp and not at all oily3. Mexican Rice - kidding aside, if you were broke, you could just order this and still get your Mexican fixWe also tried their Macho Plato, Fish Tacos and Coco-Flan con Sorbetes. They were good too but the three above stood out. They have quite a selection of beers and alcoholic drinks too. I had their mojito. It was ok, not exceptionally good. I'd have wanted more lime juice in it.I am quite sensitive to heat (not in my food though) and sweat a lot so personally I'd choose to come in the evening. The ambience is also more charming at night - you know how lights can do wonders to set the mood. Finally, let's be honest, not everyone is on a binge budget. You don't have to be to enjoy yourself in Casamigos. Their food is very reasonably priced.I am surprised to have not heard about Casamigos before. It isn't along Marikina's main thoroughfares but it's totally not difficult to get here either. But even if it were, I know I'd make that trip for their food.China Marikina websites

Cool place. Food and drinks offered taste good and affordable for its serving size. It was our first time to dine here. We found this place by accident. For the food that we tried so far, maybe the burritos and chimichangas need to have an actual meat and not just flavored rice with few beans. We consider going back though. For the love of Mexican!

My wife and I have been to a lot of mexican places in marikina. And i must say this is the best place. Though they don't have AC. Still al fresco dining is the best.We always order: quesadilla, soft tacos, chimichanga, burrito. Everything is sooo good.PS: Nakalagay sa zomata na closed. But they are always open. I don't know why. Will be back soon!

I love love love this place! I always go here for their chimichangas. Serving is enough for two people! If you want to drink somewhere quiet, and hidden, with good food and ambiance, Casamigos is the place to be!

Masarap, the first time we tried there. But quality is not consistent across the board. Steak was too salty and tough, I had a very hard time cutting it up. Potato included with the steak was 5 sticks of chubby fries. Di man lang mashed potato. Obviously, It did not go well with the streak. Tradiitonal mojito was weak and was missing mint leaves too. No discernible difference sa juice version nila. I liked the mexican rice though.

Casa Amigos Cantina is a Mexican-Filipino restaurant based in Marikina City. The restaurant is conveniently located between Cherry Street and Olive Street , Concepcion Dos in Marikina City. The restaurant is a fine example of an old house built in the 1970's which had been adapted into a bar and restaurant with an outdoor area. It had a capacity of between 40 to 65 at any given occasion. Some of the furniture and fixtures like wine bottles are recycled and the place had a rustic ambiance. One feels transported somewhere in Acapulco or in Cabo San Lucas in Mexico . bright murals , Mexican sombreros , Mexican map, tin poster were added delight.Chimichangas the dish is typically prepared by filling a flour tortilla with a wide range of fillings and ingredients rice, machaca , marinated meat , or shredded chicken, and folding it into a rectangular package. It is then deep-fried and can be accompanied with salsa , cheese and a slice of lemon.Macho Plato which consists of quesadillas, grilled pork ribs , grilled pork meat and nachos with salsa, sliced lemon , dip with free ice tea . Crocodile Sisig- This is one of the MUST TRY when you visit this restaurant. The ingredients are from farm bred crocodiles in Tanay, Rizal province. The sisig are well-seasoned and topped with fresh sliced onions, chopped finger chilies , fresh bird's eye chili , egg and dash of calamansi. ( Php 350 ) per order.  Alcoholic Drinks - There are wide selections of alcoholic beverages and drinks that the restaurant offer a mix of Mexican mojito, beer ,seven days in Mexico, mixed sangria , young blood, corona extra, margarita, young blood, melon ball, green lantern, sunburst, Hello Benguet , Mango Mojito are just some of the available drinks. For complete article of the review, Please visit PSST.PH

Mexico Vibes!Product: Casamigos will surely satisfy your needs for Mexican food. From their Nachos to their Chimichangas, and their ribs to their Crocodile Sisig, you won't be looking for anything else. You will also be happy to know that they serve alcoholic drinks all day long to partner up with your food.I especially loved the chimichanga. I loved that it was rich with filling instead of the wrap unlike some burritos/chimichangas out there. Although it may be messy to eat, don't be afraid to use your hands for the full experience. The crocodile sisig will be served fresh from the pan to you so mix the egg right away. It was spicy but I think it's tolerable or at least it didn't have the extreme heat that will turn your face red. To be honest, if I wasn't told that it was crocodile, I probably wouldn't notice at first. Although it actually tasted even better than the meat we're used to. I don't know if it's because of the way they cooked it but the flavor of the meat really stands out, and it felt more tender in my mouth. I ended up liking it a lot more than I expected. The Mexican Platter is also good for around 4 people. If you're too lazy to choose from the menu or can't agree/decide what to order with your friends, choose this one. Also, their drinks are very colorful! For dessert we had Coco Flan con Sorbetes, which is a deep fried leche flan- that still isn't enough to make you try it?- The sorbetes balances the sweetness of the flan in a way. Venue: What makes them different from their competitors is that they give you that authentic Mexican restaurant feeling. They make you think that you're really dining outside yet they still give you a comfortable dining-at-home experience. I also need to especially mention that the beautiful decorations here were handmade by the people in charge themselves! It seems that a lot of students go here after school, probably because the food isn't only good but also affordable. The servers were also one of the friendliest crews I've encountered. I just think the overall experience made me thought of what it really feels like to be in an authentic Mexican restaurant.

Ola mi amigos y amigas! :)That is the exact vibe when you drop by at Casamigos Cantina, A Mexican resto located by Concepcion Dos, Marikina. The place was not that hard to find as most jeepneys and fx pass by that corner, most of the drivers know it as well.It was a pretty big spot that can cater a big group. Mostly known to have large crowds over the weekend. You have to take note that the place is an open area so no aircon to expect. And for the food. Here's what I recommend:Chimichangas - Not all-wrap but packed with all of its goodness. I really enjoyed it as it definitely fills out the tummy.Macho Platter - Consists of Quesadillas, Grilled Pork Ribs , Spicy Pork Sausage and Nachos with Salsa. Served with Mexican Rice and a pitcher of Iced Tea. A great pick if the gang can't decide on what to order.Crocodile Sisig - Yes you've read it correctly. Croc Sisig is most likely their chase food here in Casamigos. They have enough stock for their daily needs and an increased demand over the weekend so there are lots of it to go around. It has less cholesterol and tastes good as well.Se7en Days In Mexico - One of their alcoholic cocktails that's not too strong but can definitely snuff the lights out of you in volumes. Taste's also great. It was great to try out their dishes. And with a very affordable list, you can definitely enjoy their food without breaking your wallet. I have to get back to try out their other Mexican dishes as well.

The first time I stepped into Casamigos, it looked like there was going to be a backyard party any minute. It’s a good kind of party, where family and friends hang out, drink, eat and dance the salsa in happy abandon. It is at a street corner on a big lot, and PUJs and FX taxis pass it all the time so it’s easy to find for locals and visitors alike. So the fiesta already started by the time I got there and these were the yummy treats we had.Chimichangas - This deep-fried burrito is bursting with fillings and flavor so it’s easy to see why this is among their best sellers. It has a nice balance of rice, veggies and meat, unlike others who just pack the carbs with a smidgen of meat. I also like that it did not taste too greasy. This is really big so make sure you’re either very hungry or you’re sharing it with another friend. And the Mexican rice inside is good on its own as well.Macho Platter - a mix of nachos, quesadillas, sausage and pork ribs - this platter is good for 4 and does not taste cliche. The ribs are very tender and the sausage is indeed spicy but tolerable. A nice representative of the Tex-Mex cuisine.Fish Tacos - I loved that the fish strip was cooked and seasoned well. Crocodile Sisig - easily the group’s favorite. It wasn’t as fatty and greasy as the pork version many of us are used to, and it was wonderfully seasoned. Yes, crocodile tastes like chicken, but this is more flavorful. Coco Flan con Sorbetes - This was a nice, rich and creamy dessert. The toasty, fried exterior is a nice contrast to the soft and rich flan inside. The ice cream is an added bonus to this dessert.I found their drinks a little weak though but it's probably a personal preference. But this is definitely a great place to chill with friends and family, as we saw during our visit.
