Ambiance is good but the cakes are inconsistent. I love their Spanish caldereta. I find the staff so accommodating and they employ deaf and mute.

I'm a Makati girl and of course since I'm already at the center where most of the "social night life" is, I wouldn't want to go any farther. I would rather just stick to nearby places but when my boyfriend took me here, I fell in love with the place. There is nothing so extravagant but it has a delightful ambiance. Aside from the affordable scrumptious food, I thought that this is a perfect romantic place for a couple who wanted to get away from a boisterous city night life. This is a place where you can talk about anything under the sun, and just simply relax.

I tried their pizza, nachos, and soup. Everything are delicious! The place is fine, it is an open area. But we waited for a really long time for the dishes tho.

Raffy's service broke down and I ended up fetching her and since we were in the Marikina area, I decided that we can have dinner at Lilac Street. Casa Feliz, located behind China Bank at Lilac is a garden resturant and is open air. It has been raining the past few days so it is oretty humid, they do have large electric fans to keep the clients cool. Raffy and I found a table at the middle of the diner. There were a few diners inside, Somehow it place reminds me of a place my friends in University like to hang out to drink. Tent set up. Raffy decided to have Pasta. Raffy and I found a table at the middle of the diner. There were a few diners inside, Somehow it place reminds me of a place my friends in University like to hang out to drink. Tent set up. Raffy decided to have Pasta. For 180php, we were served half order of Nacho as appetizer. For a half order it is pretty large and good for at least 3-4. They used fresh vegetables, the nachos thin and crunchy with just the right spice. They served a seperate dip with it but the salsa was ice cokd and the cheese not so cheesey. I suggest you either have this as is. Raffy and I liked it that way.The Aligue Pasta 165php, tasted ok, I was expecting a lot considering it was one of the unique pastas on the menu.Raffy had her usual Carbonara 135php, which she enjoyed. it was a large serving and very creamy. We split the Vida Verde Tea slice 120php, which is their best seller and for me, made the trip to Casa Feliz worth it. A sans rival cake with green tea and whipped cream, with just the right sweetness and perfect for sharing. Casa Feliz, is a place where you have a selection from their menu from Rice meals, Pastas, Pizza, I also heard that their Tapis is also great, they serve variety of alcoholic drinks and also non alcoholic ones. Since it is open air, they could also accomodate smokers and very large groups.Casa Feliz is open from 7am-11pm daily. For details call 933.66.53

THE LILAC BRICK ROAD: A Marikina Food Trip Special FinaleSo finally we were up for dessert. No place else to go but to the nearest cafe beside S.K.O.W. - Casa Feliz. This fine resto-cafe is known for its garden setting and its wedding ambience. This is the perfect set down for the group for late midnight chitchats. For us, we opted to play a game that kinda brought back the child in all of us - that which we fondly call "nagtanong-tanong ako...", a college favorite category game. Of course what else is there to order for dessert to accompany us but their famous Vida Verde! This delightful wafer cake has the same texture as Conti's Mango Bravo but instead of chocolate and mango, it used pistachio and kiwi for its perfectly blend of sweetness, creaminess and "nutty"-ness. Our friend ordered their cheesy ensaymada and it perfectly matched their coffee. This joyous and appetite fulfilling adventure ended up at Ate Matet's home where we offered them one of the very famous delicacy of Marikina - Rocha's Delicious Puto & Kutsinta. What we thought were full stomachs instantly gobbled on 2 boxes of putos! Haha! I hope you guys liked my entry. For our next stop, we are thinking of Maginhawa Strip. Hope to see you there! :)Price Range: Vida Verde - Php800Location: 95 Rainbow St., SSS Village, Brgy. Concepcion Dos, Marikina City

For the love of cakes!!! We went here right after we ordered our milkshakes in Udderly Delicious Milkshakes. That time only their coffees and cakes are available because the other side is under construction. The ambience is just like at home, the cake we ordered is pistachio sans rival with kiwi on top it is really delicious!!!

We went here before dinner so there were no customers yet. We particularly ordered lechon sa gata and some of their signature cakes. We waited for about 40 minutes to be served :( . The only consolation we had was that the food we ordered were delicious so we went home a bit satisfied.
