Cafe Kapitan is among the restaurants inside the Kapitan Moy Developing in Marikina, just over the Woman of the Abandoned Church inside San Roque. The developing in itself may be the 200 year-older preserved home of Don Laureano Guevarra, also referred to as Kapitan Moy, Founderof the Marikina Footwear Industry. Therefore, Café Kapitan Eating place retains the atmosphere of old Marikina using its Spanish influence. It provides a number of Filipino, Chinese and Spanish foods, with good flavor and appearance offered in generous proportions and at inexpensive prices. This is a favoured location for wallet meetings and loved ones gatherings. Interestingly, there's a vintage well in the restaurant that acts as a décor and a wishing nicely for customers. Parking could be done privately roads or at the church, whether it's not really on a Sunday.

Only several heritage houses are restored and held for such a long time esp within the metro, and Cafe Kapitan is one of these, am so fortunate that i live close by, i take advantage of to dine within whenever i would like to....plus it is situated jst beside my favoritechurch - Our Lady of the Abandoned! The ambience will be.....uncomparable plus meals is obviously great!

In order to knowledge how ilustrados dined through the Spanish period, Cafe Kapitan may be the spot to be. It was previously the municipal hall of Marikina that the town government changed into an events location and restaurants. You will end up in awe ofthe architecture. We ordered their finest retailers - crab omelette and beef tenderloin. These didn't disappoint. The crab omelette had been manufactured from real crab meat not really the synthetic types. It had been the fluffiest omelette I've had. There have been veggies in it that means it is a hearty and healthful meal. The tenderloin was lean and yes, tender. It had been offered in a sizzling plate. In order to avoid it getting rubbery, don't let it over stay static in the sizzling plate. Provide it an excellent stir in the popular plate and immediately exchange to a standard plate. Although not really awe-inspiring. Their pansit bihon has been also good since it was tasty however, not an individual red meat was around the corner. Again, a wholesome option. You will want to five stars? First, they don't serve dinner. It is a pity because on probably the most romantic period of your day to dine in a cultural heritage web site, it is shut. The resto closes at 630pm! Second, the events location at the next floor created the disturbing sound. The footsteps of individuals upstairs sounded like horses' trumping on the wood floor. It became whitened noise afterwards, anyway. To get that additional star, open up the resto for supper!
