I have been here many times and the food is great. I love the burrito 🙂 they have great acoustic bands. Also, I like their concept of having a quiet place for couple or family dates and an area that is great for barkada get togethers

Great place to unwind with friends. Great food and drinks. Their specialty is the crispy dinuguan burrito (a must!) they also have cocktails in a jar at very affordable price.

Place is really nice, though medyo funny yung hillsong, we didn’t mind though 😂. We had the tacos, coming from a bad restaurant not too far away, Bodega Casa Villa was the saving grace. The tacos kept us saying “who would’ve thought?” with the adobo, inasal and ox brain. Murals were also a nice addition to the already good ambience. Btw, they have 20% discount on Sundays. 👏🏻🎉

Marikina has been a secret munch-worthy destination which echoed its way through the ears of many food connoisseurs way back 2009. The city has become quite the food destination for East and North residents, as well as hard-core foodies from the South (like us!) who are willing to go beyond the toll gates. This eclectic area is touted as the “Shoe Capital of the Philippines” has become a hub for many food concepts, from Japanese to Italian and everything in between, drawing visitors from all over the Metro.

Bodega is one of those houses turned restaurants so off the bat the place has a homey, chill feel. They've done interesting work with the food, combining Pinoy favorites and wrapping it up in a Mexican setting. The servers are friendly, nice, and very accommodating. Come during the weekends and acoustic live music will be the backdrop for a relaxing night with your friends.

Probably the only one in the areawith a young, chill vibe (most of the bars in the area cater to Titos). IMHO, good hangout place for friends, I am in my early thirties and I totally feel at home with their spread, music and vibe! My favorites- crispy hito, sole and their drinks of course!

Solid and steady comfy ambiance. Good and reasonably priced menu roster. If you’re into quaint place to dine and have a bottle or 2 of cold beers this is the best place to go. Get the Aligue Pasta, tacos, Sinugbang Maiz (Elote)

Nacho Bodega - When it comes to nachos, it doesn’t matter whether it’s a tall stack or loaded with toppings. What I look for in nachos is the texture of the chips. You should be able to eat the chips bare - retaining its crisp for at least an hour. The chips and melted cheese should be enough, every thing else is a bonus and this one did not disappoint.Elote - The first time I ate Elote was at a vendor at High Street and I thought all elotes tasted the same. The corn was cooked just right and they did not scrimp on the toppings.Dinuguan Burrito - At first glance, it did not look appealing at all. I had a hard time make it look appetizing in the photos. How do I make others like this burrito? Surprisingly, it was good even without the sauce. It tasted just like dinuguan without the soup base. Taco Trio - This is like street tacos. Three tacos with different fillings. I think I had chicken. This was the first thing I ate. I liked how flavorful these were.Aligue Squid Pasta - Most restaurants usually pair aligue pasta with shrimp. They used angel hair pasta and baby squid. The taste was similar to pancit palabok.Stacked Chicken Wings - Not yet listed on the menu. Different flavored chicken wings stacked - 12 or more wings. Priced at 700.00, you don’t get bang for your buck. Sadly, the chicken wing I had was a tad bit salty and the meat was tough. Bodega promises Fil-Mex food with a twist. What I got was seemingly Mexican food (e.g., the use of tortilla, nacho chips, etc) that made use of Filipino ingredients - which was okay. But I expected more. I love Mexican food, cooked the traditional way. I don’t mind the fusion with Filipino flavors, just as long as the basics are there - Mexican food should have that hint of lime or should have at least spicy salsa on the side. Overall experience was quite good though. I enjoyed trying something new.

In one of the quiet roads of Marikina just off the major thoroughfare that is Gil Fernando Avenue is a burst of vibrant colors, tastes and sounds, a perfect venue for chilling out when the sultry summer nights come along. Bodega Casa Villa is a Fil-Mex restaurant that seeks to bring the fun and spice of Mexican food to the Filipino palate. This results to a mix of contrasts: spicy dishes and refreshing drinks, a rockin’ and colorfully decorated al fresco dining and bar area outside and a homey yet well appointed setting inside, and signature Mexican dishes using Pinoy ingredients.

Bodega is one of the few establishments that breaks the infamous TITO vibes of the area. Hahaha!!!Hole in the wall restaurant/inuman place that serves Fil-Mex dishes. You can go al-fresco or air-conditioned dining. :)Take note of the following offerings:1. Sinugbang Maiz (for appetizer), this is so burned tastiness of goodness!!!  3.  Aligue Pasta! This is a must to be eaten here!!! I kid you not. :)That's all folks! :>
