Ordered Paa Meal. They increased price to P170. Portion is very small! Not worth the price, not even the taste! Nothing special! Chicken is dry and hard. Rice also looks like it was just colored with atsuete, and it was also hard!

Bacolod is known for many things: City of Smiles, Sugarlandia and most specially for their food scene which brought in one of Manila’s well-loved dishes, the Chicken Inasal!. Inasal is an Ilonggo term that means “chargrilled” or “roasted meat” and has originated from, where else but the City of Bacolod. Unlike the usual grilled chicken that uses toyo or soy sauce, the Inasal uses different ingredients like calamansi, pepper, coconut vinegar and annatto for its marinade and basting sauce that leaves a unique flavor.

There's always been a certain kind of comfort and warmth I feel whenever I eat Ilonggo food. I guess it's because I know it speaks of age-old tradition and made with so much love and passion. And just a few days ago, I felt the same emotions again as I discovered a Bacolod-grown restaurant in Marikina called Bacolod Chicken BBQ.Tracing its roots from the famed Chicken House in the sugar capital of the Philippines, Bacolod Chicken BBQ is literally more than just a chicken house. It's a food haven that serves all the Ilonggo favorites we have all grown to love through the years - from Inasal, to La Paz Batchoy, down to the nostalgic Puto Manapla. And the best part? Everything is deliciously cheap! No wonder it's a hit both here and in the Middle East (with 4 branches). Check out what to order and personal favorites:1. La Paz Batchoy Egg (php 155). A tasty medley of rich broth, noodles, liver, topped with crunchy chicharon and raw egg. Perfect for those cold rainy days!2. Puto Manapla (php25/PC). Soft rice cakes that pair perfectly with your batchoy. These yummy ones are rare nowadays so I didn't shy away from eating 2!3. Inasal-Pecho/Pa-a (php 115/120)-I love how crispy-crunchy the outside is while the meat inside is tender and juicy. While the flavor was a delighgul mix of sour, salty, and savory. You can really taste the medley of calamani, coconut vinegar, and annato seeds in the marinade. It was really tasty and didnt need a sawsawan anymore, to be honest. Just like how I remember authentic inasal is supposed to be.4.Pork Sisig and Chicken Sisig - Honestly I liked both. Not too fatty and spot on with the flavor. But the chicken had a unique healthy taste to it.5. Isol, BBQ, Atay, Baticolon (php 40/45/45/45). I love anything bbq but the baticolon was my fave. Same flavor as the inasal but charred more for a crispy yet still chewy taste6. Chicken Skin (Php 120)- And of course how can I forget about the Chicken Skin of Bacolod Chicken BBQ? Extra crispy and super tasty! They were very very addictive.Bacolod Chk-n-BBQ also has branches inAyala Malls Feliz Robinsons Place Antipolo,Las Piñas City, Sta Rosa, Laguna, SM Mall of Asia, Sucat, Paranaque, Alabang, Zamboanga City

It's been 7 months since I had their original spiced pecho, and boiii, have I craved for it!Had a chance to also try out some of their best selling dishes which includes the Pork Sisig, Chicken Sisig, Crispy Pata, Pinaket, Gising Gising, Laing, La Paz Batchoy with Egg, Chicken Skin, and of course--their Paa, Beticolon, Pecho, Isol and Atay skewers. Their pecho is affordably priced at 120php (ala carte) compared to the emerging inasal "star" brand, but still has quality than the famous fastfood chain. And let the putok-batok session begin! My personal favorite was still their Pecho, especially with their signature java rice which already has the right amount of chicken oil in it, so no "umay" factor. Their Chicken Skin is soooo good, highly addictive! Be careful and take enough meds before eating though! (loljk) especially with the Crispy Pata. Oh wowww. That's why it's really important to have some vegetables on the sides: like Pinakbet, Gising Gising, and Laing--for balance. Meanwhile, the La Paz Batchoy has generous amount of noodles, batchoy, chicharon, etc. Their regular size is good for 2pax.For the dessert, we had the Halo Halo. Not a fan of Halo Halo, that's why I just enjoyed their sweet Sago't Gulaman. Will visit the MOA branch soon!

Nakakain kami dati sa bacolod chk n bbq house sa ayala malls feliz. Masarap lahat, maayos at malinis. Salamat

Ambaaaaagaaaaal po ng service. Waited an hour for the food wala naman halos tao kasi kakaopen lang. Nung dumating yung food andaming iba. Yung la paz bachoy na inorder namin with egg ang sinerve walang egg, napakakonti lang ng toppings as opposed sa mga posted pictures nila. Tinanong namin bakit, sabi wala na raw kasi egg. Sana man lang ininform kami. Food serving is so little for the price.

A good way to end a tiring night is a scrumptious & heavy dinner. Ha! No to diet. Haha. 😁 Place was really well decorated. It was clean abd with the green accents all over the place, makes your mind relax while inside. We ordered a lot & the food came out considerably fast. I had their liempo meal – taste-wise okay but I had a hard time chewing the meat. 😞 I also tried their Sisig which is good too. Iced tea was a little too sweet or pure for me, so I added water. Haha. More iced tea, more fun! All in all, it was still a good meal. I did not know how much it cost because somebody else did the paying! Hihi. Thank you for the treat. 😘😊🍴

Well I'm not a fan of inasal chickens but this resto is a promising one. A lot were eating inside which shows food is great. The taste of the inasal is like that of the other restos in the metro, nothing that special. The molo soup is good but i think that it lacks something. I was expecting more from the aligue fried rice but it didnt satisfy me, hence there is room for improvement. Put more ingredients in the rice. Its like fast food friedrice. The dessert is good.

Ate here with my in-laws. It's a nice place kaso not okay for fellowship and meetings kasi may mga inuman. Pero it's good for family time. The food is great and the crews are nice naman. 👍🏻
