We'll honesty, did not enjoy much of the food here because it's pricey...but then since I like inari sushi, let's start the verdict.I'll just make a review of the place, since japanese food will always be japanese food.Hmmm..the place is more on executive type. It clings for associates with suits and neck tie..like those people.I dont think it fits the mid and early age as the place is too...hmmm samurai. But given a chance to be here again, I will definitely give a double no, triple nod! 😁😁😁

I have always loved this place!!!! It's also one of my family's favorite Japanese restaurants as well. I have had their donburis, shrimp tempura, chicken teriyaki, makis and various dishes. For this particular visit, I had Pork katsudon and chicken karaage. The karaage was perfectly crispy and my katsudon as always was delicious. I love how they give big proportions for each meal. Overall, the food is delicious and I would highly recommend the place! Service is exceptional and staff are all friendly. ❤️

Despite the distance from my place, I always look forward to dining at Diamond Hotel. Although I admittedly had only been to Corniche, I had heard the stories of their amazing Japanese restaurant, Yurakuen. For some reason, I was under the impression that the Japanese entrees of Corniche was basically what you would find at Yurakuen (Kinda makes sense since it's the same hotel, right?). Considering I was actually quite pleased with what I've tried at Corniche, I never really found an urgency to try Yurakuen.

Excellent. From the time you go inside all the way to your table. You are definitely taken cared off. Albeit expensive, it is expected as you are treated like royalty. This is after all a Japanese restaurant in a HOTEL.Very elegant and perfect for date night. more on

Thoroughly enjoyed my meal! I ordered the Gureshu Set. The Gindara Teriyaki was cooked to perfection smothered with a really delicious, subtly sweet teriyaki sauce. The smoky flavour from the grill really came through. The condiments were delicious little cuts of veggies both pickled and stewed. The shrimp tempura was tasty, but could be crispier. The tempura sauce was somewhat watery and tasteless, though. Anyway, it overall was a very good meal closed by a tasty creamy green tea ice cream. Will come here again!

We each got their lunch set to try out— mine being their Wasyoku set, which consisted of Teriyaki Gindara fish 🐟 , fried Shrimp Tempura 🍤, Salmon Sashimi, Rice, Soup, Vegetable side dishes 🥗 and homemade ice cream (not pictured) 🍨 Yup, it’s a mouthful. And very filling too! The fish was great— saucy, tender and deboned quite well! Sashimi was fresh, rice was fluffy and soup was warm and filling. 🍲 Not too happy though about the tempura, if I were to be honest. It wasn’t as crispy as I would have liked it. Presentation of the whole dish was wonderful though, gotta hand it to them. ❤️ but it was really, really pricey. For the amount they were charging, they could really work on the tempura’s consistency, just saying.

Really love the food here, dined here twice already, both without photos, because you are that drawn into the food. Their set meals for lunch are quite good, and the teppanyaki is the best! The fried rice is really great and the vanilla ice cream as well.

We had their teppanyaki eat all you can and it was definitely a nice experience. I think it's still a bit pricey for what it is, but it's something to be experienced, especially if you're looking for something a bit more intimate and interesting than your standard restaurant experience. The meal comes with free unlimited juice, I had the orange juice which was a legit pulpy orange juice, not any cheap stuff. You can order a variety of sushi and sashimi and meats and seafood to cook.I found the most special thing here to be the scallops, and you can get these huge scallops here that you wouldn't be able to get easily elsewhere. The shrimp and squid we're pretty standard. The best of their meat I'd have to say was the beef tenderloin, the beef sirloin is fattier but it's not quite as easy to eat. For the fried rice it's definitely best to get the mixed fried rice as you'll get both beef and seafood in it, and they give you a LOT of fried rice. This is pricey, no doubt about it, but it's a fun experience, in a very beautiful setting.

Good Japanese resto where you can get quality Hamachi sashimi. Tempura, Agedashi tofu, and seafood chahan were disappointing, average taste and poorly plated. Bento boxes were okay, nothing special to make me come back. Overall, the sashimi and dessert was the only thing I liked here.

They are already miles away. Not like the chefs before. This time foods are all burnt. Meats are stir fry. Full of burnt smell. No Art.Nothing. 3 is for the ingredients. Zero for the cook.
