Today, I met up with a friend from high school whom I haven't seen in 3 years! Wow, time really does pass by quickly. We both live near SM San Lazaro, so we decided to meet up there, since our main purpose is to catch up, so eating anywhere is fine with us. While I was walking to the mall from our house, I was listing down the restaurants we could possibly dine in. I remember that she is not a fan of Filipino food, so I crossed them out from my mental list. When we met, I gradually learned that she's actually not fond of Southeast Asian cuisines in general! 😱 Oh boy, the choices are limited now!After taking a quick review of the remaining restaurants, we decided on having our late lunch at Yellow Cab. The ambiance is similar to most Yellow Cab branches, chill vibes radiating through the restaurant. We were greeted with smiles by the server, a plus point for their wonderful service. We eventually made up our mind and ordered a 10" Dear Darla Pizza and Aglio Olio pasta. ✔ DEAR DARLA 10" (Php 330) - ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐MY ALL-TIME FAVORITE PIZZA AT YELLOW CAB! 😍💜 It's a very simple pizza, but as they say, "Simplicity is beauty." 😂 I love how the flavors blend well together. I always remove the onion, though, since I don't like eating onions HEHE. Make sure to drizzle some chili oil before you wrap it!✔ AGLIO OLIO (Php 295) - ⭐⭐⭐⭐A classic take on this oil-based crowd favorite, YC offers this with either shrimps or anchovies. We chose the shrimps, and our pasta came with 5 pcs. of plump and fresh shrimps. The garlic taste was just right, and the olive oil coated the pasta evenly. My only concern was, while the pasta was al dente, it was a bit on the dry side. It still tasted good, though. We were so full after this meal, after all, the serving sizes are all good for sharing! 💜
