One of the best dimsum places in the oldest Chinatown in the world. Their Beef noodles is a must, their soup is not that salty compared to other Chinese fast-food. Bola-bola (meatballs) congee is another one that is interesting, they put fresh egg on its hot piping bowl. Of course a trip here wouldn't be complete without sampling their dimsums. Thaipao is one of my favourites it is a special siopao with meatballs, hot sauce, and some other ingredients that's prominent in Chinese cuisine. Kutchai, siomai, and their hakaw are definitely not to miss. Since this is very popular among the locals and those who are doing food crawls, the queue can be irritating.

If you are in Binondo, you have to drop by here. Food is always solid. Although today, we weren't impressed with their congee. Love the radish cakes, dim sum and duck.

Their food here is very cheap, suits every student's budget. Despite the cheap pricing, they offer really nice lemon chicken and dimsums. The only downside of this place is the ambience and cleanliness. One time, when my friend and her boyfriend were dining here, we coincidentally saw the waiter drop the soy chicken that they were supposed to serve to us. The server just picked it up casually and put it back to the plate. It was so gross. Nevertheless, I haven't had any situation where I encountered something like that so I still sometimes eat here. My favorite in this place is that they give you free refill of the ginger sauce whenever you want more. It tastes so good with the soy chicken or the white chicken. 👌🏻

The place is far from cozy but the dimsum is great! I ordered Hakaw, Chicken Feet and Beef Wanton Mami. All of it is to die for! The mami has lots of wanton, beef and it has hakaw too.

Too many mom-and-pop's restos in Binondo but one of the so-called institutions highly recommended for a hearty fix - Wai Ying! Dimsum-load all-you-can and it won't break the bank compared to Chinese restaurants in the malls. My faves to order: hakaw (plump shrimps and generous pork - you can have some to-go, isn't it awesome?!?) and chicken feet! Can you open a branch in Kapitolyo or Ortigas? :D

Of course, if it's a Chinese Restaurant you got to order Chinese Food.  I'm giving them a higher rating of 3 because of their Hakaw.  It's just so delicious and probably one of the best there is.  Their Pork Liempo, however, is bland.  It lacks flavor.  The sauce did not even do justice.   And the Fried Rice, it needs to be improved.

Wai Ying is a must if you will eat at Binondo, but I suggest that you go to the restaurant itself, not the food court outlet. We ordered Beef Hofan, Hakaw, and Asado Siopao and our total bill was only Php320! The serving size is good and the service crew was efficient. I highly recommend the Beef Hofan. It's delicious and filling. I would have given a higher score if the siopao and hakaw weren't too dry.

One of the best places to go to inorder to satisfy one's craving for Chinese food.Delicious food and huge portions for a good price. The place has some of the best dim sum all over Chinatown. Their siomai, hakaw, and sharksfin are my personal favorites. The interior can still be improved. It can also get a little loud, as it's a popular spot for large groups and families.

Food: While hunting fabrics, I accidentally saw Wai Ying Fastfood in 168 Mall, in search of my suki's new location. Reminiscing my Binondo trip, I ordered Soy Chicken meal, while my mom asked for Asado siopao and Kutchay dumplings. Skip the soy chicken meal. I mean, it was generally ok, but, it was so bony that each bite, I have to spit out small bones. Also, it was too salty for my taste. So distracting. The siopao? Forget it. Choose the kutchay dumplings instead. It has a gelatin-ish soft, a bit chewy wrapper and a present kutchay. Pair it with their chili soy sauce. Yum.Servings: Inasmuch as I liked the kutchay, three pieces for P70 had a "bitin" factor. Price: So-so. For a Divisoria foodcourt, meals with P200 sounds too pricey for some people. But, I wouldn't mind buying kutchay again. Plus, choices were so limited here compare with the main Binondo branch. Location: Foodcourt. Nothing fancy. Well at least the place and tables were clean. Will I come back again? Hmm. Nothing beats the main Binondo branch.

Wai Ying has been our family's favorite in Binondo. Since I'm already in 168, I've tried their stall there. But their branch in 168, is very slow. The line took long to move and the food takes time to serve. I would rather go to their branch in Benavidez, Binondo for fast and better service.
