It was on the slightly rainy Saturday afternoon that my buddies and I made a decision to try this location, that was suggested by booky.com. We were buying new and good spot to get some desserts following a past due beef tapa lunch time in Quezon Town. This is the nearest place we're able to go in Tomas Morato. Outside, the place appears like a regular restaurant. But as soon as inside, you will notice a decent group of interiors. Since we had been new to the area, we ordered the suggested ones. So we obtained a German schneeball, an Italian canoli, an purchase of Spanishchurros, one mallow, and a sit down elsewhere. The schneeball experience was not used to us as you had to pound the pastry in the plastic bag to taste the German dessert delight. We enjoyed it- both pounding encounter and the flavor. Canoli was popular or skip for my other close friends. The churros with chocolate dip had been a big success for us and the initial one ingested. The mallow was furthermore good. Coffee was Okay. It was my first-time to ger introduced to these European desserts and I believe it’s worth another attempt the next time.

Wonderful ambience though a little small and the desk was cramp. Foods like salmon truffle pasta had been good. Calamari was excellent. A little expensive for the dimension. The schneeball dessert has been enjoyable to crack ans consume.

European theme little resto with fine ambience. Table was cramped with insufficient leg room. Tried salmon dish, truffle pasta, poultry poulet, crunchy calamari. All great. Servings were little for the price.

I don’t usually evaluation restaurants offering mediocre service and/or even food. But ten minutes after arrival, after requesting the menus, we were informed that the place is certainly reserved. My highly-educated and achieved co-workers and I, who appearance respectable despite not really wearing business wear andcocktail gowns, were told to depart as the place is completely reserved. I appeared around and there have been only 2 individuals in a single table. Is this an incident of profiling, assuming in advance that my co-workers are not capable of paying the expenses? What kind of cafe will be this? If the area is completely reserved, the area has to have an indicator beyond your premises that says “completely booked”. Otherwise, what's the idea in proclaiming to the planet that the area is open? Once we still left the premises, I noticed the restaurant’s cooks and servers smoking cigarettes and chattering beyond your kitchen doorway, by the street. I've restrained myself from confronting the eating place staff. That is my initial bad review. And I'm not coming back.

We ordered gambas al ajillo (quite tasty), sausage platter, a salad, a salmon dish a chicken dish, catalan fish dish(said to be cobbler but ended up being dory) and churros. The dishes are usually good overall aside from the catalan fish but you canprobably get yourself a better version on a specialty eating place (german, Spanish, etc). Prices are usually on the high aspect. They're also providing eatigo discount.

Underseasoned plus overcooked. I ate as of this restaurant yesterday evening on the effectiveness of its good testimonials. I was totally underwhelmed. I purchased the Jamon Serrano Croquettes. These were oily and underseasoned, just like the cook didn't put any salt onto it. I shrugged itoff, and hoped that my salmon (Il Tricolore) will be much better. Dear God, the salmon has been overcooked and therefore very dried out. It tasted just like the frozen salmon had been thawed in a microwave for too much time. The pesto risotto has been in the same way disappointing. Overcooked and underseasoned. I'll never come back!

The area is small but cozy, the decorations are unique. Essential see place for tourists and locals who wants to try European foods. We adore the truffle pasta and the butcher's steak.

Location is beautiful, attracts plenty of patrons, pricing is reasonable, flavors great, servers helpful. We went here for the desserts even though they're pretty and delicate and extravagant and all, I had consistency issues. The cannolis had been a little stale, the panna cottawas gummy (the gelatin they utilized shaped a 'rind' or skin round the dessert), and the item de resistance, the traditional dessert Gianduiotto, a dessert from the Napoleon period, was attention candy with the golden flecks contrary to the clean chocolate shell within the mousse inside. Unfortunately, texture wise additionally it is a fail, because the chocolate include was gummy and certainly tempered with some type of gelatin consistency which managed to get feel similar to rubber. Sad. The German Schneballen produces an interactive experience. The dessert can be served on a wood block, and you also place it in the paper handbag and smash it with the supplied wooden mallet. Produces a significant spectacle with the sound and all, nonetheless it is enjoyable. The smashed pieces become bite sized chocolate protected treats. This place has more beauty than substance, unfortunately. Not in a rush to return.
