We head to Uno, at least one time a month to take pleasure from a quiet meal served by long-time friendly employees and every once in awhile see the owners. It certainly is a nice surprise whenever a new menus is introduced to us therefore we experience new meals. The meals from soups, salads, pasta, mains, breads and desserts remain excellent after twenty years.

My mom's friend suggested we try the Uno Eating place in the Tomas Morato area and I actually was extremely disappointed. I'd say that it is a small cafe with an average atmosphere serving over-priced mediocre meals. First, i don't notice or taste anything particular aboutthe focaccia wheat breads, or the tiny little bit of butter privately as a beginner. You will get better quality loaf of bread from dining places like Bizu or chain shops like Purple Cooker, French baker, or Loaf of bread Talk. The menus is quite restricted. We ordered three major classes: Pork Chop (Php 370), Salmon fillet (Php 590), and another Seafood Fillet dish with reddish gravy sauce (Php 470). The meal is average--good for just one person with regular appetite. For the purchase price I listed, it really is only for the primary course itself also it will not include any salad or soup. The Salmon has been overcooked and includes a little bit of chilled and strage tasting pesto kind sauce. However, the fish fillet had been drowned in the unappetizing reddish colored curry sauce. For the purchase price we paid, we're able to have got feasted on a buffet or purchase large sharing dimension portions from nearby dining places this type of Chilis or Fridays. We attempted the chocolate cake--dried out and crumbly. The apple company pie was poor either. This is actually the kind of restaurant that I'll not advocate or set foot once again.
