If you are looking for great tasting ramen, then Ukokei comes highly recommended with its great tasting shoyu and tantanmen ramen served in large bowls with the ramen cooked to perfection. You also know that the taste is authentic Japanese since there are many regular Japanese diners as well. The gyoza is also a great side dish to the ramen.

I never had a bad meal in ukkokei Ramen whether it is in the Tuscany branch or the one in Pasay Road. I always made sure that Ebdamame is ordered as a good appetizer, then depends if Im craving for something spicy their famous Tan Tan Men Ramen would be perfect or the Chasu Miso Butter Corn if I'm not up for something spicy. Definitely an order of their gyoza is also a must have to compliment the ramen you eat.  It's definitely one of the notable ramen places to go to in the Metro Manila area.

I tasted their Tantanmen. I find it good but not the best. The soup was too oily, unfortunately. But overall, it's good place to visit especially on rainy nights.

Quite a filling luscious bowl of ramen for first timers! Tantanmen was definitely the best ramen according to my boyfriend. I had the miso katsu just so we'd have a variety. It's the second bestseller next to tantanmen :) The serving in Ukkokei is I think good for 2. This is the only branch that allows sharing and take out orders, and so I heard :)

My chinese friends (S/O to Jenna and Candyd) shared with our group this place because they really loved the Tantammen here and we all wanted to dine out together, so we went there and tried it out for ourselves. To be honest, I wasn't expecting it to taste so good since most of the ramen I've had are either instant ones or plainly unsatisfactory. But boy, it tastes like heaven. I love the spiciness and the peanut butter taste that smothers you each slurp of the broth. I loooove the pork bits that comes tangled with the ramen noodles. We also ordered additional corn to top on our Tantanmen and Gyoza. The Gyoza was just fine. I'm not that fond of it but still, it tastes good. We didn't order any drinks and just had the complimentary iced tea and surprisingly, it partners well with what we ordered. I love the roast-like smell and taste on the tea, too. It's not the generic iced tea where it's just sugar swimming in your taste buds, it's the real deal. Price-wise, it's a little pricey. But withe the serving size, I think 2 people can share with one bowl (since that's what we did HIHIHI). Definitely recommend this place and definitely will come back for more ????
