We have been to numerous bars about Manila, and definitely thebar@1951 is among the best. I could tell it due to the ambiance of the area, theme, staff and meals. thebar@1951 provides its identity, It's not a really common bar just like the othersdown in Malate. But it's an performer bar who appreciates all sorts of art, specially in songs. And about the foods, it compliments and matches the sensation of the bar and it's really VERY AFFORDABLE! Among my favorite is usually their Carbonara, Nachos and their Quesadilla. and concerning the staff? Very helpful and accommodating! :D

This cafe is really a regular spot to view good music, relax and relax. The personnel and management are actually friendly and there's some real ambience round the room with artwork and songs being the main element difference. This specific visit I were able to catchup with Fuseboxx, a band that's seen before, but never such an intimate venue. Round the walls were pictures from the photographer who's function I recognised from researching nearby artists. All up an extremely pleasant experience.

This is our second/last stop for the night time to send off a colleague to some other opportunity in another organization. Music was loud sufficient so you needed to speak close up to friends and family ear. All of the music had not been rock/mainstream which means you canvalue it at your personal discretion (beer assists a whole lot in recommending and jamming to the songs) Had several beers to cap the night time. The waiters and employees were efficient and great.
