Came here on a Monday afternoon. It wasn’t crowded and we were seen to fast. We decided to order the Tempura Tuna Tartare (165 pesos), the Dynamite Roll (8 for 185 pesos), the Philly Cheese Steak Roll (8 for 185 pesos) and the Tori Brown Rice Nabe (265 pesos). I was a little underwhelmed by the Tempura Tuna Tartare. Maybe because I’ve been spoiled by the Izakaya Kikufuji version in Little Tokyo, which is amazing. But the Teriyaki Boy’s version is around half of the price, so can’t really complain too much. The Dynamite Rolls were good, nice spice to it. The Philly Cheese Steak Rolls came with a special cheese dipping sauce. That was nice. The Tori Brown Rice Nabe was a little bit bland. I think it needed more chicken and more teriyaki sauce. But apart from that, the experience was alright.

Located in such a chaotic mall, the quiet inside T Boy was calming. Haven’t been here in years, and we decided to might as well give it a try again. Got a California Maki that had more rice than filling. The ramen was ok, not enough noodles, egg was hard boiled. But did like that it came with chashu. Gyoza was pretty decent.

Teriyaki Boy was our family's go-to japanese restaurant, but the quality has declined throughout the years. It was just last weekend that we dined there again, on a weekend night, there were just a few tables occupied. We ordered their curry set and rice bowl set that are both on a buy1 get1 promo. Serving size is ok, the tempura shrimp was served hot but the size of the shrimp was small for a "tempura", parang na-out of stock ng malaking hipon like what they used to serve😬 the dynamite roll and the crunchy roll was ok, but there was actually too much rice for the roll compare to the other ingredients inside the roll. The tofu steak is another staple whenever we dine there but we were so confused if there is an additional new tofu on the menu because the supposed tofu steak with bits and pieces on topping wasn't what we got, instead we got a fried square thing, with bacon wrapped in tofu, the tofu was so small that you'd think u ordered a bacon roll. The servers were great and attentive, utensils are clean, ambiance is ok, the only piping hot item we got was the tea, it saved the meal. Just sad to see that their food quality is declining as years pass by 😞

The name is teriyaki boy and guess what their specialty is? Teriyaki chicken and tuna are my favorites. Sushi rolls aren’t bad either. I like the fact that I can come by myself and get “solo” servings of sushi rolls (four pieces) and gyoza (two pieces).

We were looking for a familiar restaurant where we could have dinner on a Monday evening, and since we were craving for something Japanese, we decided to go for Teriyaki Boy. It’s not as popular as it was but it could still punch in some Eastern authenticity. I was with my sister, which gave me a chance to be able to order more than I could handle. It didn’t take long for the food to arrive, and the serving time was just as good as the dishes. On top of my list would be their Tonkatsu Curry. The meat was tender, even though the breading was deep fried and crispy. The curry complimented the pork’s flavor, so we finished it almost as soon as we started it. It could use, however, more serving of curry and more heat. Another one that I fancied on was their Tuna Tartare, an original French cuisine that they infused with an Asian appeal. This serving didn’t need the usual soy sauce as it was seasoned well already. Its generous tempura bits also gave an interesting crunch once in a while. We also tried their dynamite roll, Western-style sushi, that contains a piece of prawn tempura and masago, with other vegetables. The cheese tried to neutralize the fire like the spiciness of the roll. This one is a must order if you love spicy food!Their tempura didn't disappoint either, as it could easily be compared with what the rest of the Metro has to offer. Each bite was also packed with shrimp. It was not your usual airy kind found elsewhere. To even out the flavors of the food that we had and provide some nutrients, we also tried their Yasai Itame, or better known as stir-fried vegetables, for our side order. Their Yasai Itame stood out, given its infusion of signature Chicken Teriyaki. And hey, this was only Php 120! This round of Teriyaki Boy experience was great overall, and I'd recommend it for you if you like Japanese right away and not as pricey.

Tried their Teishoku Set for lunch and it was very filling! You can either choose the Kataudon or Terikayi Biy Chicken. It comes with Miso soup, Kani Salad and California Maki. Not bad for the price. They also have a promo until Dec 31 for this set so Check it out!

Been a while since I dined at Teriyaki Boy, and somehow their food tasted different from what I remembered, like how dry the tofu steak is now and the chicken teriyaki wasn't as tasty as before. Alsoordered seafood Teppanyaki, and california roll which I enjoyed. Well I guess for me Teriyaki Boy has lost its flavor, and I hope they try to improve their dishes. But of course this is my opinion. Try it for yourselves and be the judge.

I am a little bit disappointed with this Teriyaki Boy branch. I had good memories with Teriyaki boy but this branch did not turn out as expected. The chicken bowl had 4 small pieces of chicken with not much sauce. What supposed to be was Japanese rice had a mixture of regular rice and to top it off the wasabi did not have that wasabi kick. I kept asking for more.

I love eating at teriyaki boy ever since my teenage days and also our hang out spot with my cousins after we had a drink. But after i had dinner in this branch , i was a bit disappointed because they don't have the quality that they have before.I love the food but the serving didn't satisfy my craving.

One of my favorite dishes is japanese food, and this did not disappoint. Yes, it was a little bit pricey, but the serving was BIG and the food was delicious! They have nice staff as well, which I commend the most. It was worth the money 👌🏻
