Ate here for about a week ago because they have this ruby anniversary thing where you can get 50% for a minimum of 5000. So we ordered more than enough for 5000, only to find out that the 50% discount was only available on weekdays and not on weekends. We went there on a Saturday.I loved their fried tofu. Other than that, you can easily compare their fare to other Chinese restaurants around Manila.

Been eating here since I was a child, more than 15 years ago. Still tastes great as I remember, especially the pata tim with mantou. Also try their dishes with seafood, I think the restaurant’s owners also own a fishing business so you’re guaranteed that the seafood is always fresh.

This place is an institution if you ask the old timers. But i can say i enjoy this place too and understand why. We should be so lucky to still have the opportunity to eat their stir fried string beans with minced pork that is perfectly flavored and cooked. Also great is the fried white bread that is dipped in condensed milk - so yummy, a must try. Enjoy! I do hope modernization and the ills of fast commercialization does not change this location, tied in with the Aloha hotel. These are sacred grounds so legs hope this remains to be the case, unless something just as majestic props up on this location.

Typical chinese restaurant. sadly we had to send back the fried rice because it had an unpleasant odor to it. Explanation by management was because of the chorizo but we didnt want to risk it. Food is a bit on the pricey side and wasnt really that impressive.

I got a change to eat their spicy crab sotanghon... my mouth was burning but it felt like i was in heaven... the taste of the crab was all over the sauce and the rice noodles. I am not into spicy food but this was so good not to enjoy. bits and pieces of crab have merge with the sauce that creates a fusion of taste of sweet from the rice noodles, spiciness from the chilis and the taste of that wonderful delicious crab. there were also plenty of other foods to enjoy if you are a little adventurous you should also try their deep fried frog legs. but the spicy sotanghon crab is enough to give this place 5 delicious stars

I always pass by this place  whenever I take the long (for me) drive to MOA, and it would always pique my interest with the name of the restaurant in big, bold letters. I finally tried this restaurant after doing some errands. The place seemed a bit run down. The interiors were old, and a little bit musty. This could've been an added charm, if the food were good. The problem is, it wasn't. :(We ordered the Spicy Dandan Noodles, Fried Spareribs with Salt and Pepper, and rice. The Spicy Dandan Noodles were just okay. A bit on the bland side, it didn't deliver on its promise of being spicy. The Fried Spareribs with Salt and Pepper, a standard fare in most Chinese restaurants, was not flavorful, as well. The meat was also a bit tough. Szechuan dishes are well known for being spicy and flavorful. Szechuan House does not live up to that expectation. Sadly, not coming back again.

Food was not as good as remembered the last time we were here, about 5 years ago. They had attentive staff, old yet classic interiors which is good. But the food was not that good. We ordered Xiao long bao, hakaw, crispy noodles, chicken noodle soup, crab fuyong and stewed pork belly with mantao. Serving size is big so we got to take a lot of food home after we ate. I was disappointed with the xiao long bao, though understandably, only a few Chinese restaurants get this dimsum right. Do not order their hakaw! Just get this common dimsum from other Chinese restaurants! Crab fuyong was good but a little salty for my taste. The pork belly is tender and tasty but full of visible fat.

Chinese restaurant with exotic food, like frogs are served here. Although, I am not a fan. We still ordered food that are new to us. And luckily we find the menu and food of exotic viand taste great here. Small but nice restaurant inside Aloha Hotel.

I can not stop laughing at this roach infested rat hole. I attended a function upstairs catered by this restaurant and had to the worst Chinese food I have ever had outside of China. Nasty taste and filthy facility. Do not ever go there, I can already start to feel my stomach acting up.

Szechuan used to be our family's favorite restaurant way back then. Their dim sum's were really good BEFORE.. But what happened to my favorite Xiao long bao? :( No more soup inside, we even asked the server to tell the kitchen not to overcooked our XLB but I'm so disappointed :( We had the Crab Meat Fuyong | Hot & Sour Soup | Xiao Long Bao | Siomai | Crab Meat Fried Rice | Jelly Fish and Our all time favorite King Fish with Taoso. King Fish with Taoso - I can seriously finish two orders of that! AGHHH. Nostalgic! My childhood favorite. This is what my family really enjoyed last night. I love their hot and sour soup! But not the pungent smell. The rest of the dishes are just so-so. But still disappointed with the XLB :( By the way, they also offer frozen Dimsum. The place is very old.. Szechuan is located at the ground floor of Aloha Hotel facing Roxas Blvd. Follow @CHEFFYMITCHYU on Instagram for more food/drink photos and to discover new and old restaurants in the metro.
