The menu is quite expensive but it's worth it. It's a good place to chill, relax, take a nap or hangout with your friends. They also have a free wifi.

The place looked nice but they had a limited menu but we didn't even get to try any of the food because my friends and I just wanted to share on an order but we didn't want to get a big one because we didn't know if we would like it and we were just there for dessert. They refused to let us sit unless each one of us ordered something or if we got the big ones and this was already rude but we let it go and we were just going to leave and the guy at the counter even sarcastically said "bye!" and that was one of the rudest experiences I've encountered in a restaurant. First they wouldn't let us sit unless they deemed our order enough for the whole group and then they would be sarcastic and rude about our choice of leaving for another restaurant. It is not their decision what is enough for a certain group of people and it is definitely rude to refuse to let us sit when there wasn't anyone else occupying any of the tables and we were going to order something! This was simply such a rude experience and I don't recommend the place at all. Service is everything and they offered bad service.

In the neighborhood of Taft Avenue, The Eatventurers discovered a hangout place which mainly offers Bingsu. It is called “Snowboom Dessert Cafe.Snowboom's policy is one order per person to chill out in this place. They also offer iced and hot coffee, frappes, pasta, cakes, and smoothies, among others. We ordered the large Real Choco Snow Ice (P350) which was already good for two to three people, so we didn't need to buy anything else. The small version of this bingsu is priced at P230.It was actually the first time we've tasted ice shavings this fine. The ice tastes good on its own even without the toppings. The Real Choco Snow Ice is not too sweet and very chocolatey, just right to our liking. Other flavors of their bingsu are as follows: Real Mango Snow Ice (S-P190, L-P280); Yoghurt Melon Snow Ice (L-P360); Choco Cake Snow Ice (L-P350); Cheese Mango Snow Ice (S-P230, L-P350); and Cheese Blueberry Snow Ice (S-P230,L-P360).These are all perfect for the summer season which sadly is ending soon. We recommend this place if you already tried Café Travel and Noriter and would want a new hangout place near De La Salle University and Dela Salle-College of St. Benilde. Although it appears small from the outside, it can accommodate several customers. It also has a homey vibe with divided seating areas and cribs. Plus, you can stay for long as they also have wifi with plug, perfect for studying and working. Oh and did we mention, they have good music playlist too?ServiceSnow Boom Café is well-manned. Staff will check on you from time to time and serve orders fast.Read the full review of Snow Boom Cafe here: http://www.eatventurers.com/2017/05/korean-eats-finely-shaved-snowboom.html?m=0 | The Eatventurers

The menu needs a bit of improvement since the "bestsellers" were not that tasty to me at all. I wonder who decided on that list. They also need to upgrade the facilities to cope with other booming cafés.

Really love their bingsu here but I find it overpriced. Real Mango and Cheese Mango Snow Ice are my go-to orders. Those cheese bits on top are so addicting! Tried the Iced Mocha too (a bit too sweet for me) and the Oreo Cheesecake which is overpriced at P190. But I think you’re paying for the place. If you’re at University Mall, Malate and craving for sweets, you should try it here.

I hate how rude the counter guy was. He was repeatedly shouting for us to order first before settling, but we were just exploring the place for the first time; wondering if there's a comfortable area we would like to stay in. Of course we would buy something, but his manner of approaching was so agitating and belittling.Their coffee was not for my taste. The Caramel Macchiato was too sweet. I tried my partner's order, we just forgot what it was exactly, but it was not good as well!I just hope that we can experience a lot more of these concept cafes, but with better food!

Great for de-stressing and relaxation! It's a very cozy place where you can just relax and be at peace. I ordered their blueberry cheesecake bingsu and garlic honey bread, which are both great for their value! The servings were bigger than I expected and I especially enjoyed the bread. The servers were also pleasant and amiable. Overall, it was a refreshing experience for me. For sure, I'll be visiting as often as I can!

The place is so nice that you can really bond here with your friends with decent privacy. The place is also spacious enough tho they only have one crib for large groups coming together. The food is okay. Their egg cheese sandwich is so good but a bit pricey. Had tried their vanilla cookie frappe and it is good as well but a bit too sweet for me.Overall this place will be our new to-go place (next to SHP) here around taft since Cafe Travel (located across University Mall before) has been gone.

I tasted their chocolate cake bingsu. It was so nice. It had surprises underneath those snow! And I love the fact that they added chopped cheese. I love cheese! 🧀
