We've been consuming at Shantung because the 80's and I could say that the meals tasted better before. In the event that you must eat right here, attempt their fried poultry and scorching and sour soup, their bestsellers, and yes, nevertheless delicious. Shantung isn't a cheap location toeat. Their half fried poultry alone (around 8 items) would set you back PHP200. Steamed seafood fillet reaches PHP320 per purchase. The restaurant is thoroughly clean. Even their restrooms. In the event that you haven't tasted older school Chinese food however, this can be a good place to begin.

Shantung has been historically my husband's family's in history fave restaurant. Without doubt why! He introduced me here for the 3rd time and the meals makes me salivate. I recommend the shrimp balls and bamboo shoots with beef. The area is nice, accesibleand offers a great service. Certainly, this restaurant will undoubtedly be recognized to our family's succeeding generations. Try to you'll always keep coming back in Shantung for a lot more! Two thumbs up!!!

Just order this 2 on the menu. Delighted tummy already. Fried poultry is eaten using its nice n sour sauce. Soup #1 is in fact sizzling n sour soup however, not your typical popular n sour soup.

We'd the Crispy Pansit Canton, Hot Sour Soup Fried Poultry and Yang Chow Fried Rice. I really like the Crispy pansit Canton. The warm sour soup will be lacking something - the sourness. I favor Mann Hann's Warm Sour Soup. Their Fried Poultry includes a tastena nakakaumay. Yang Chow: Ok.

Shangtung is probably the oldest Chinese restos within Manila, make that on the list of oldest restos within Manila of any kind. Think such as Ma Mon Luk, Sa Lido, Savory, Sincerity etc. First time to consume here. We ordered seafood lip soup, shrimp friedrice, oyster cake, crab omelette, a shrimp dish. All are reasonably great. If one wants reside fish you need to order in advance. Was not in a position to try their specialized fried chicken though. .Ambiance is reasonably best for the Chinese resto, not elegant but well kept. Perhaps it could not be great to compare it with the more recent Chinese restos around which feature chefs from China, Taiwan or HK and the accompanying authenticity. What it does could it be acts good Tsinoy food and counts as you on the list of restos that feature Tsinoy food heritage. Service is good. Prices have become reasonable.
