This is a long overdue review. I tried out Scarsdale at SM San Lazaro. To be honest, it's okay. Not really great, so I'm not really sure what the hype was about. The iced latte isn't bad. The matcha donut is like what I just said..just okay. As for the ambience... well this branch is a bit too small to be relaxing.

At one glance, I thought this place only offers a variety of donuts. But it also offers a variety of drinks. Since I'm a coffee lover, I tried Hot Caramel Macchiato while my cousin ordered Mocha Freeze. I could have enjoyed my coffee more if it was hotter. It was already lukewarm when it was served to me. That was one sad part. And I would have enjoyed it best if it was served in a larger amount. That was another sad thing for me. 😢😢😢 I also took a sip of my cousin's drink. If you love iced coffee, you would definitely enjoy their iced coffee. The ambiance was very nice and the crews were accommodating. It wasn't so bad coming here for the first time.

I've always wanted to try their doughnuts and today I got the Red Velvet with my Cafe Mocha. The Cafe Mocha was more of a hot chocolate. It didn't have hints of coffee in it but as "hot chocolate" it was really good, kinda like tablea. Although it was for dine-in, they served it in a to-go cup and I kinda wished they served it in a mug.Their red velvet doughnut had legit cream cheese filling. It had the right balance of the sweet red topping of the doughnut and the cream cheese filling.Over-all, it was okay but the doughnuts are too pricey for me. For the price of 75 pesos, I don't think I'd buy another of their doughnuts. Also, their wifi is not working. I did ask for the password and notified them that it wasn't working but they didn't fix it.

Did not reach my expectations for doughnuts, but this is a good way to spend time/hangout/or even study. Coffee is normal although priced 100+.
