Unfortunately most reviews for this restaurant is typical foreigners visiting a place without the actual knowledge of local cuisine standards and the value of local products. My friend asked me to go purely from the review but after reading some of the most current reviews and then experiencing this place myself, I'm very disappointed, but I don't know if I should be disappointed at the restaurant or the reviewers. Firstly, the food is not amazing and definitely not worth its price, if some of the reviewers ventured even just outside the Intramuros, they would know the price here is vastly overpriced. I wasn't hungry after looking at the menu and my friend wanted chips so I tentatively order the fried chicken (should have went KFC instead). The pineapple juice I ordered was from a can (NOT fresh in Phillipines!?!) And the special halo-halo was very underwhelming. And don't get me started on the slowness of service, my juice took 10mins to arrive and they weren't even busy. Just this 3 costed me a cool 500p. For the visitor who converts to dollars etc and think it's cheap, well in a floating seafood restaurant in Palawan (which is a tourist location), my very filling seafood dinner for 2 plus drinks was only 1000p.Therefore, moral of the story, don't trust everything you see on website. Always ask locals for direction, or just go where all the locals go, even in malls some restaurants are amazing. The only upside is the atmosphere and decoration is decent, hence the very borderline 3 star.

We went to San Agustin Church to attend the ceremony and before even going there, I searched in website a good place to eat after and this one came up with a high rating. I went ahead and tried it and I was not disappiointed at all. We ordered Laing, Bicol Express, Crispy pata, Seafood Kare-Kare, Chicken with fries, Blueberry cheesecake and brewed coffee. I loved all of it! The Bicol Express was a bit salty but it had the right amount of spiciness that I liked. The coffee was very good so I could not resist to ask where their coffee came from. The ambiance fit the location — nostalgic. Wooden tables, old pictures on the walls, etc. Waiting time for the food was acceptable. Friendly staff, too. I am really satisfied with my experience here and will definitely go back.

(2.5/5) Great concept behind the restaurant, the aesthetic was pulled off really well my friend actually had chills from the utter holiness (read: wackiness) of the place. The food though, was another story. Twas another stale story, ladies and gentlemen. Had this three pasta dish with pomodoro, pesto and carbonara pastas. The pomodoro was ok, the tomatoes weren't overpowering, but the other two I had to squeeze my taste buds just to taste anything. Especially the pesto!! I liked the one in big oli better. The serving sizes also suffer a lot for this place.I hope it was just a bad day for them.

I give a 3.5 to a 4 because I order the same set of food whenever I go here and that can say a lot about their consistency ladies and gentlefolks. The balance points would be because I never got attracted to the other options. It can be overwhelming really. What I always eat: halaan soup, seafood chopsuey, crispy pata. What to drink after: brewed coffeeDessert? Not so much.I ordered crispy laing before but the bicolano in me is not ok with it haha but it was not bad. I just felt it was too much to wrap it in lumpia wrapper and deep fry.But plus points for the staff, kind and quick to act. It's a good resto especially if you are with your parents.

I give the place a 5 since it was very nostalgic and heart warming since we entered the restaurant. It was cozy, well-lighted and airconditioned. I like how the table was set before you arrive. Everything was clean inside out. I give the food a 4, the salmon was good, it was seasoned well. Same goes with the pesto pasta and the pork medallion. I just find the mashed potato too creamy, perhaps a little touch of salt will do. I really love the cake especially the pecan chocolate cake (it is a must try!). There are so many options from seafood to pork, beef and poultry.I gave the staff a 5 as they were prompt, very accomodating and polite. However, the staff had no uniform, it would be good if they have, for us to be able to identify the servers/waiters with ease. Overall, our experience was great.

I liked the unique concept of this restaurant and was surprised to see their wide selection of items in their menu! My husband and son were taking photos in Intramuros and we decided to take a break and have some coffee and refreshments here. Their heart-shaped silvanas in 3 flavors was yummy! 😋 We will definitely go back soon to try their main dishes! Menu looks very interesting...will post again next time to update 😊

As part of our annual tradition, we had breakfast at the Ristorante Delle Mitre after the Chrism Mass at the Manila Cathedral. As expected, it was full. We were promptly seated, however, service was a bit slow, but we were fine with it. Food quality is alright, but it can still be improved. I ordered the breakfast set with waffles, eggs, and bacon.

First time I heard about this, I was walking to Fort Santiago. I found out it was ran by CBCP and since I came from Catholic schools that served really good food, I had to try it. I ordered their pasta with shrimp in garlic sauce and my sister ordered their beef salpicao. Both were, for the lack of a better term, heavenly and I absolutely fell in love. Will definitely come back here again!

June 19, 2019Taste - 3.5Service - 4.5Ambience - 4Choices - 4AVERAGE - 3.95We set off for Manila to explore the museums in Intramuros and the nearby Luneta area. We started with an early meal to fuel our day. Since we were first headed to Casa Manila, which was adjacent to San Agustin Church, we chose the resto fronting the church. Since it was quite early in the day, we had the place almost to ourselves and we sat by the window overlooking the church. The menu featured the usual Filipino dishes that we assumed were slightly elevated and were named after popular people in the faith. We had Crusted Crispy Tilapia w/ Coconut Milk Sauce (Php228) and Pinakbet (Php178). The sauce of the former properly complemented the fish while the latter had ampalaya, which we do not actually add to our home cooked pinakbet because my hubby does not eat it. The servings were generous so we ordered another cup of rice to share between us. What was also remarkable for the restaurant was that part of their crew were people who were disabled.
