Right for the price. The place is nice. Considering its location, the taste of the food is ok but it's not something I'll leap over the moon for.

Too expensive for their food quality. It was too oily. My boyfriend got the original philly cheese steak and I got the phillypinoy. The portions is right for the price but it was below my expectations. First the cheesesteak, okay it's good. But change the name to TAPA not STEAK. It's not steak, it's tapa. So why bother naming it cheesesteak, when it's tapa. It was deceiving.Second, the phillypinoy, better than the cheese"steak". But a little too oily for my taste. It would be better if it wasn't that cook in too much oil. The fries that came with it is crispy and fresh. So one point to that. However, the price didn't compensate the quality. Not going back and wouldn't recommend. Sorry.(Tho I might try the nachos, it looks tempting)

My friends and I tried their original philly cheesesteak, poutine, mango fruitfreeze and some shake that I forgot the name of. Food was great, my other friend and I shared the cheesesteak because it was a big serving for only one person. Tasty, a little salty for those who aren't fans of salty food but it was great for me. I don't think it was really "steak" though, it felt more like beef cuts or tapa but nonetheless I loved it. The poutine was so good, and this is coming from a person who doesn't like cheese. The shake was okay, bland for my taste but the mango fruitfreeze was sooo good for me. I like mango shakes and theirs has become one of my favorites.Location-wise, not so good. The street they were located in doesn't look too safe. I'll still go there, though. With a friend because I don't think I can walk that street alone. Not really one for everyday or every week eating. I'll say maybe once in a while.I would recommend this to those who want new food.Oh and can I just say that I am so happy they have a vegetarian cheesesteak???

Went here around 2:30 in the afternoon on a weekday and the place wasn't crammed. We ordered the original philly cheesesteak, buffalo wings, poutine and some shakes. Price is just okay for the proportions but taste is kinda lacking, especially for the wings and cheesesteak. Milkshake was really good though. Photo credits to Jena Co.

"Phillypinas" is the perfect place if you are craving for cheesesteaks. I honestly do not know the taste of the "cheesesteaks" so my only comment for there cheesesteak is that it is too dry but the sandwich is long and big, worth the price! And btw, don't forget the onion rings, so crunchy! 👍

Everything was delicious! The place itself is beautiful but only a few can dine in here because seats and tables are limited. Luckily, my boyfriend and I were able to cop a table for us two. We ate lunch here and decided to order their Poutine (P100) for appetizer. It is crispy fried thin fries with rich uniquely seasoned gravy and cheddar cheese drizzle on it. They described it as "French fries on steroids" and I totally agree. It is delicious and you will get a generous amount of fries. As for the main course, we tried their best-seller. Original Philly Cheesesteak (P230) is thinly-sliced beef with freshly chopped white onion and bell peppers smothered with cheese sauce on a baguette bun. This baby is heavenly. My boyfriend and I enjoyed every single part of it. The fries on the side are crispy and you can already infer that they cook their food on the spot. We requested that they slice it in half so that we can share it. We were satisfied and since it's very near to our school, I can already see myself eating here again. Everything was impressive except for the small amount of people they can accommodate. Hence, my almost perfect rating.

Explored Taft and we ended up being in this restaurant heheThe place was hidden so there weren't a lot of people and because it was a Saturday. The place wasn't big and it was perfect for small groups of people. The interior was nice and cute.We decided to just share on their Original Philly Cheesesteak (9 inches) the size can already feed two people but if you are a big eater, get one for yourself. It was so cheesy, the meat was easy to chew and it was so flavorful. We also got their Poutine. The cheese was the same with their cheesesteak. We also tried their Buffalo Wings and it was good and super spicy! I'm a lover of milkshakes and their Chocolate Milkshake didn't fail me. It was huge and the price was worth it.My only concern is we waited for our food so long but it wasn't that hot.

We went here and they were out of buns what the hell. Wala na ring ibang pwedeng orderin tapos nahirapan pa kaming hanapin yung lugar kasi medyo dark yung area near the public market.

I really love this place. It's a hidden gem in the outskirts of the vicinities of CSB-SDA that you wouldn't normally just stumble across as it's in some secluded semi-sketchy but wide street. Fortunately, I saw this place featured in some article a while back. Phillypinas offers absolutely delicious subs. I tried their Original Philly Cheesesteak and Onion Rings. It was absolutely delicious! It's a bit pricey but seriously it's definitely good to share. Their milkshakes and fruit drinks were also really good accompaniment to the food as it provides a very refreshing twist to things. It's definitely worth a try. I just wish the place was bigger.

The ambiance was good, quiet and relaxing. I love the fact that they have outlets/plugs to charge your gadgets. The food was okay (not great though, just okay). I ordered the original philly cheese steak and it tasted like Igado (idk if anyone knows this dish). This is actually the first cheese steak that I tasted and I did not expect that it would taste like Igado. It did not suit my taste, to he honest but Idk maybe it's just me. We have different tastes after all. The onion rings and fries was so-so. What I like here is the nachos (We ordered sour cream and onion flavor) and their fruit shake.Original Philly Cheese Steak - 2/5 (reasons: bc its pricey and i personally did not like the taste) Onion Rings - 3/5 (bc it was quite hard. Maybe they overcooked it) Fries - 4/5 Fruit shake - 4/5 Sour cream nachos - 5/5Ambiance - 4/5 (bc it was quite hot)
