One word; disappointment. 👎🏻A very big letdown. What's more painful was the fact that it was so expensive, given that it simply tastes like a buttered halfbaked egg tart with a bland, lemony after-taste. Nothing spectacular. I can't believe this got so much hype when it was introduced. Now that it has fizzled, goodness, I'm so glad it's over. 👎🏻 It's about time. You can tell me how gratifying it is to post it on social media for all the hype, and fame it would give one food addict, yes, but in reality, for the price I paid, I could have had a coffee and a much more delicious dessert, from a much more famous, and trusted coffee shop, and still have spare change from it. Trying this was a bad decision, a very grave one. I will NOT recommend this to anyone. Never. And don't get me started with all those hypocrites who keep on claiming how "GREAT" this was "WHEN THEY HAD IT IN JAPAN." 🇯🇵 No one cares. It might've worked then, from their country, but here in the Philippines, it's a definite NO. 🚫 Let's just keep things honest; "Kahit gaano siya ka sosyal tignan, hindi masarap." I've done you a favor at this point, by not letting you waste your money on absolute garbage. You're all welcome. 👍🏻

For our case, my parents fell in line for three hours to bring home one of the most talked-about pastries in town, so, if you are willing to fall in line for hours, then it is worth it. They ordered the original cheese tart for me, priced at P599. I've got high hopes for this cheese tart but yes, it lived up to its promise of richness, gooey-ness, and fluffy-ness. It was worth it.Its price though, is not that economical for it ranges from P599 above. My Japanese friend said the price is doubled here, for it only costs P250 to 300 back in Japan. The serving is not as big as I thought it was, as seen in photos, but it can be shared by four people and can also be finished by a single person. Think: pancake, but a little bigger.Aside from the rich taste, Pablo's cheese tart's velvet texture and flaky crust gave oomph to it. It's medium rare, by the way. (Yes, like the steak.)Not so life-changing but tastes good. We will come back for the chocolate cheese tart and maybe try the matcha too!Full review at www.eatventurers.com. The Eatventurers

Pablo review:I had high expectations about this tart. However... i was disapointed. 😢 it was expensive and it doesnt have that special taste in any side of it. It do have a unique texture but i was really sad of the outcome. We were inline for hours. And yet. It was just a normal tart😢😢😢😢😢😢

When I went here their original cheese tart was already out of stock so I ordered the matcha flavored one instead. I actually love how it tastes and the texture of the cheese tart. However, the size is really small when you consider its price. Maybe this is why the hype died down soon enough. Their products are good but really expensive, therefore most just try it once and never return

Idk but the price didn't match the taste. Tarts could've been made better if your prices are that high. Should've gone to a different cheesecake place. Lol. But okay, that's how you make your pastries. 🤙🏼🤙🏼

AmbienceThis is a take-out spot but I was amused by their seats. After placing my order, I was busy looking at something behind the counter. When I started looking around the branch, the young lady at the till said I may wait there. At first it sounded funny, but little did I know that the empty space was actually for sitting, not for displaying products! :PBeverageI give them lots of credit for their drink, the Smoothie Chestnut Chocolate. This was my very first beverage from any Pablo branch. Let's just say, if you love snacking on chestnuts, there's a big chance you'll appreciate this drink; I totally did! It took a few sips to get used to, but WOW it was good, even the cream!ServiceIt took awhile for the beverage preps but it was really worth the wait!

Ahhh, finally. I got to taste PABLO after all the hype was over. It took me a while but here I am. I can judge without any need to satisfy anyone's curiosity but my own. Strangely, they always seem to run out of the big ones even if they don't form a long line anymore these days. Do they make lesser products? Or are people buying in bulk? Well, I didn't ask so I wouldn't know. Anyway, I still got to taste their mini tarts (more crusts for us). I don't know why this has such a low rating, the cheese tarts were actually good. It was creamy, cheesy, and tasted good whether if it was freshly baked or even a day after storing in the fridge. I loved it. Maybe it's just me but I didn't mind the price while I was eating and I haven't really eaten a lot of cheese tarts to compare it with so I was really happy with it. I wouldn't buy it on a monthly basis but it's nice to have it here whenever I feel like having one.

This place doesn't deserve an average rating of 2.2. I was taken aback by it. The cheese cakes are quite delicious. I have no idea how "authentic" cheesecakes are supposed to taste like, but I trust my taste buds. And my taste buds have not been let down by Pablo so far. Keep it up!
