I was honestly disappointed, I'm a steak lover and I do know how to cook. This resto has a higher rating than TGIF but TGIF's steaks were way better, of course that is not the only problem, the steak was average at best and too salty and kind of gamey. Also the prices here were outdated, their menu is alot more expensive than some steaks served at other steak bars. As I've read other reviews here, they've said that the gravy was a life saver, but I was wrong again, the gravy wasn't even made from real butter, it tasted exactly like margarine and not butter, I've been a food lover and also can cook a good steak, and honestly for their new price of 300, it wasn't worth it, it was like you're eating at a lower end resto worth 100 peso and I've tasted better steaks than this at cheaper sizzling plates.Ps. I ordered medium rare but it came out fully cooked.gravy did not taste like its made from butter but from margarine instead.the two star I've given was because of their cakes, it was fantastic but for a steakhouse? The ratings here and steaks were a letdown.also average serviceI forgot, most of their menu are not even available, I was actually excited when I came here but things happen so..Food for price: 1Service: 2Cakes: 3Overall: 2

If you happen to be in the Taft area plus craving for a steak, you should definitely try Rap’s. It’s cheap (P225) compared to the well-known steakhouses out there and yet it’ll satisfy your cravings. Their unli gravy is addicting, too!

Their ribs are the best. Their desserts are quite good too.If you want a real steak, this place isn't for you. You really get what you pay for here. It's only slightly better than those food court "steak" places that serve sizzling rice meals.

I have dined here maybe 5 times. I have tried the steaks, the liempo and the revel bars. The liempo is good, it’s better than the other items I’ve tried. The steaks weren’t consistent on each visit though. The unlimited gravy is tasty. I pour it all over my rice. It’s a popular place during class hours, so you might struggle to find a place to sit.

I love their steaks and unlimited gravy even though sometimes you can't see the difference between their medium rare and well done, it just looks the same. But overall, I love the food here and will definitely come back.

Rap Steak and Cakes is every Lasallians go-to steak place. You go there when you want something good and filling. It’s basically lasallian comfort food. After all these years, it’s good to be back. I ordered their t bone steak, when I had this way back in 2005 it was only 120 pesos, now the price more than doubled. I’ts 237 for their regular sized tbone steak. Consistent gravy and their Worcestershire sauce with the smoky steak. Its still delicious, and its still exactly how I remember it. Same tables, same chairs the only new thing is there is no more outside area.

I was really curious of it because of a Blog Post by Fat Girls Day Out.But what caught me is the unli gravy in a pitcher and I am like WHAT? Is this really serious? So I went here to know it is.Ambiance - 2.0/5.0The place itself looks so sad. Because there is always gonna be that ambiance will welcome you in a subtle way.Service - 3.0/5.0There is nothing much about the service except that its quick enough. We'll see if it is the same once the resto is filled with people.Food - 5.0/5.0Budget wise, and serving wise, my T-Bone Regular is WORTH THE STEAL. I really love how it was prepared and of course, the gravy! It is not oily at all -- all I can figure out is the buttery flavor. Will definitely go back!

Been here for a quick lunch and my colleagues are the one who introduces this place to me.The location is just around the corner near Leon Guinto. The seating capacity is a bit small because there's a lot of customers at lunch. The servers are attentive to customers need though we waited for long for our food(steak). The steak tastes good, especially with the unli gravy. The price is quite affordable.Overall, I will come back again soon and try other foods they offer.Ratings:Food - 4.5/5Price - 4/5Ambiance - 3.5/5Location - 3.5/5Service - 4/5

I ordered the liempo and it is quite big. They also serve unli gravy that is really tasty and goes well with their steaks. Price is quite affordable for a student who wants to try out steak.

Back here after a year! First time I ate here was back in 2005, during the first week of classes with my block mates and i've been coming back ever since. Back then the life span of restaurants in the area were about 1-2 years. This place withstood the changing La Sallian taste for more than a decade. It's the gravy 😍Service and ambiance is gonna be mediocre but at the end of the day it will always be about the food.
