I recently had lunch time at Melo's Sgt Esguerra St. with my sister eating on a steak w/ foigras set dinner & the steak was certainly horrible. I couldn't tell easily has been chewing tasteless rubber or biting on the toughest steak imaginable. I've dinedpreviously and it had not been this horrible. We received complementary dessert but also that tasted enjoy it have been on the shelf for times.

Ordered the steak with foie gras and had been so thoroughly dissatisfied with the steak high quality. The meat had not been edible and may have easily bounced when thrown to the walls with all the current tough ligaments inside it. AWFUL! Wouldn't normally patronize this eating place everagain. Expensive therefore not worth it.

Melo's may be the hands-down The area for steaks. Albeit, on the pricey aspect, the quality is worthy of it. If you would like your steak medium uncommon, it WILL turn out medium rare. :)

The ambiance in the place was spectacular... cool, serene, relaxing... ideal fora date, an enchanting meal, a business conference. It was just like you entered another world from the outside. However the pleasantness of the area ends there. We used the Australian Wagyu Porterhouse also it was not when i would have anticipated from the trustworthiness of the place. As the steak had been juicy, it had been lacking in deliciousness, plus some components had been either fatty and hard to chew. I've tasted much more tasty steaks at significantly cheaper price, resorts included. The savior has been the grilled salmon salad.

We had Melo's browse and turf platters: grilled Wagyu beef steak with Lobster tail and Angus beef steak with King prawns. Portions (6-8oz steaks) had been perfectly but I desire the wagyu steak will be a bit thicker to keep even more moisture and flavor. I spear my very own fish back Florida so my friends all hail me by the title 'Fish Snob' - a moniker We embrace wholeheartedly. Nowadays my palate has been soundly rewarded - and at a steak house of most places. I've consumed at the Melo'sat Burgos Circle in BGC and today's dining knowledge was as effective as generally. The Ceasar Salad had been fresh and delicious (albeit a tiny little bit wet), the onion soup flavorful however the Seabass? Extraordinary! Prepared to perfection with delicious sides of crisp vegetables. The wine selection amazing for Manila and the program by Ellen has been as delightful as her grin. I'll definitely return. PS - I've discovered to always order seafood wifhOUT skin inside this country, which decreases any 'fishy' taste.

Getting the cheapskate, I made a decision to deal with the fam of 7 to lunch with this very attractive offer. The 10oz USDA steaks we ordered were consistent in flavor and tenderness with the number simply right for the normal adult. Teenagers with bottomless appetites will never be content with this steak dimension. The initial Wagyu steaks, albeit small servings (@ 5 oz) had been really worth the steep cost in comparison to its australian counterpart. Service has been topnotch and from par with restos inside 5 star resorts. The steaks were prepared to the right doneness as requested. Desire to return soon prior to the promo ends. :-)
