I recently had lunch time at Melo's Sgt Esguerra St. with my sister eating on a steak w/ foigras set dinner & the steak was certainly horrible. I couldn't tell easily has been chewing tasteless rubber or biting on the toughest steak imaginable. I've dinedpreviously and it had not been this horrible. We received complementary dessert but also that tasted enjoy it have been on the shelf for times.

Ordered the steak with foie gras and had been so thoroughly dissatisfied with the steak high quality. The meat had not been edible and may have easily bounced when thrown to the walls with all the current tough ligaments inside it. AWFUL! Wouldn't normally patronize this eating place everagain. Expensive therefore not worth it.

Melo's may be the hands-down The area for steaks. Albeit, on the pricey aspect, the quality is worthy of it. If you would like your steak medium uncommon, it WILL turn out medium rare. :)

Browsing for a past due lunch joint along Sgt. Esguerra in Quezon Town, we decided to try steak for a big change, and since Melo's is fairly famous, we attempted the joint. The ambiance in the place was spectacular... cool, serene, relaxing... ideal fora date, an enchanting meal, a business conference. It was just like you entered another world from the outside. However the pleasantness of the area ends there. We used the Australian Wagyu Porterhouse also it was not when i would have anticipated from the trustworthiness of the place. As the steak had been juicy, it had been lacking in deliciousness, plus some components had been either fatty and hard to chew. I've tasted much more tasty steaks at significantly cheaper price, resorts included. The savior has been the grilled salmon salad.

I've heared a whole lot a rave testimonials about their steaks therefore i decide to consider my date here understanding her fondness for steaks. We had Melo's browse and turf platters: grilled Wagyu beef steak with Lobster tail and Angus beef steak with King prawns. Themeals integrated a calamari appetizer, pumpkin soup starters and buttered veggies with mashed potatoes. The meals were ready and presented. Portions (6-8oz steaks) had been perfectly but I desire the wagyu steak will be a bit thicker to keep even more moisture and flavor. The staff are well mannered and service was great despite just what a few previous reviews mentioned. We'd great surf & turf foods to with this wonderful evening. I'd certainly recommend Melo's for all those special events that demand excellent foods, ambience and good provider.
