Chose this restaurant for a client meeting but also because it should be a nostalgic experience for me. I think I haven't been to a Max's restaurant for more than 10 years. I used to enjoy the restaurant for its awesome chicken, impeccable service, and tasty dishes. Unfortunately, after a long time, these expectations were not met and I was pretty disappointed. We ordered the good for 4 package and had their famous Fried Chicken, Lumpiang Shanghai, and Pansit Canton. The Fried Chicken still has the same fragrance and tenderness but is a bit oilier. The lumpiang shanghai was so-so and the noodles were bland. The servers were not as friendly and the orders got mixed up. We had to check the bill twice because there were some dishes that were added that we did not order. It is just sad that the consistency is gone.

We tried their Lechon Kawali, Adobo Rice and their Fried Chicken. Well, everything is plain.Chicken is dry, oily, and small. Lechon kawali is also small and had a bit of weird after taste. Adobo Rice is too salty oh my goodness! I  feel like I wasted a good money on their dishes! While I'm not a fan of their food, I admire their customer service and ambiance. Nothing more.

We had our lunch sa Dasma branch kanina & we did enjoy the Pork Sinigang & Chicken Sisig. First time to order Buko Pandan dessert. P14 difference sa Halo-Halo. Nasaan ang hustisya? LOL.
