Their Sempalot set is very filling. That sharp vinegar dip is a perfect match for their okoy and the bibingka is freshly-made. Maybe that's why the server informed me that I had to wait 15minutes for my order. The sempalot (guinataan) is unfortunately so-so and so is the puto-bumbong. It would have made a difference if both dishes were piping hot!😔. More mantikilya on the puto-bumbong please. 😋

Okay naman ang mga food. Masasarap naman ito. Lutong pinoy talaga. If you love pinoy foods na parang lutong bahay. Suggest ko dito. :) the service was so so lang.

We had too much of American, Italian, and other cuisines for the past few weeks. And so, we are craving for Asian food. Hence, you can never go wrong with Filipino food.Important things we want to point out:* Food Quality: Everything is so scrumptious. The Tofu Sisig is a must-try. Even if we haven't put seasoning yet, it's flavorful. Others might think that their Sinigang na Sugpo sa Kamias is really sour, but it's not. The flavor is so balance you can enjoy the sour taste as well as the freshness of the shrimp. On the other hand, we were so impressed with their Pork & Chicken Adobo. It has a distinct taste compared to other Adobo that we have tried. Lastly, the Sago't Gulaman served as a refresher/ dessert as it comes with a different twist of vanilla syrup.* Place: We noticed that it's a bit small. Luckily, there were only few customers at that that time. Because if not, definitely the place will be crowded. I like the three tamaraw heads on the wall, as well as the chandelier. * Price: Ordered 3 dishes, 4 cups of rice, and beverages for less than ₱900.* Needs Improvement: We couldn't think of anything to improve with their service and the quality of food. But just a suggestion, they should have a personalized serviette or face towelette instead of a regular table napkin. It will look more appealing to guests.* Overall experience: If there is one resto that we could go back to everyday, it's definitely MANGAN... Three thumbs up!!!Disclaimer: All photos belongs to us; also uploaded in our facebook account (real-time).

I am not really fond of trying out Filipino cuisine when I'm at the mall but this restaurant changed my mind set. I was really surprised of their kare kare and pancit malabon.

Never ever bring your Kapampangan Mom/ Titas especially Lolas to Mangan. They'd be greatly disappointed by the buro & by the slow incompetent service. Growing up to the rearing of Kapampangan Aunties, I know what Kapampangan food tastes like. The Buro should be thin but not super diluted because you'll lose the fermented flavor. Mangan's buro is called Burong Hipon which in fact it's not, it's binurong kanin sa hipon. The crispy hito was alright, a little too bland for my taste. But let me go straight to the incompetency, I kept following up on my Mongo Soup. I talked to 3 waiters, but it was the 4th one who told me they ran out of mongo. I have 0 problems if what I want is already out of stock but please just inform me. I kept following up & waiters kept saying yes tapos yun pala wala? Ano to? Playground? Maglalalaro lang tayo? The lack of communication between BOH & FS is disappointing. The service is slow. The food is underwhelming. No, I'm not going back.

Good food but kind of too expensive for filipino food. We spent 1600 here for 3 people. Food was good but not too good. The servings for the prince were kinda "meh", I would give it as a homey type of taste. However, I've tasted better food from other high quality filipino resto's that has better food and cheaper by a bit. I'll score it at exactly three, good ambiance plus good food.

Best place to go if you're craving filipino food and you're around Ermita Area. They also have puto bumbong which is really nice cuz this kakanin is only available during the christmas season.

Please read the full review from the link below. Thanks!Excerpt: The pork sisig was good while the adobo tasted more like asado than adobo. The mango salad and sinigang na bangus (milkfish in sour guava soup) were just ok. The gising-gising was the best tasting dish among them! Crunchy sigarilyas (winged bean) with creamy and flavorful coconut sauce…magic.Taste = 4/5Service = 3/5Place = 3/5Value = 3/5

I went here for our family dinner. We opted to go here as their "Bagoong Vinaigrette" is to die for. My favorites here are the Kare-Kare, Pinakbet, and the Ensalada Gulay at Mangga (w/ bagoong vinaigrette). The staff is friendly enough, making the service feel at home. Also, their Bibingka will surely bring me back here – they serve Bibingka if there are birthday celebrants in the group. Lastly, the price point of the food here is not student friendly, but the food tastes good though – it'll be worth it.

It's rainy season and I feel like dining here one of these days. If you feel like eating home-cooked foods, this is the right place for you. Mangan is a local cuisine restaurant that caters you with the perfect Filipino taste that you're looking for. I dined here for a few times already and it is a great place for family get together. The place will make you remind of your home kitchen as if it is really your own. The staffs are also kind and the service is smooth and fast. There are unfortunate times when you dine with a lot of people inside the restaurant. I think they need to expand their space to accommodate the volume of costumers wanting to try out the food in their place.
