Makchang is my favorite KBBQ place for their pork galbi. Being the branch nearest Robinsons and my undergrad school, I’ve been to this branch numerous times, even at the time before they got renovated to the now modern look. An observation I have is the service in this branch has become poorer (my last visit last Dec 15 for dinner). We had to request for the steamed egg countless of times to be delayed for almost an hour. The quality of the meet is not as good as before and the slices were not uniform anymore. I think the other newer branch has better quality now.

Honestly , I expected too much with their food. Unfortunately, I wasn't able meet my expectations. First of all, staffs and waiters were not accommodating. But if you're from a different country, they will assist you attentively. May because foreigners are giving higher tip, but still it's their job to serve and assist all their customers. Secondly, food somehow good specially their meat but they're kimchi tastes like ginger. Lastly, you need to ask multiple times to get a refill for their sides. Hopefully , I am the only once experienced this.

One of the best Korean BBQ restaurants in Manila. The price is typical to middle end restaurants (250-500), if you're looking for unlimited kbbq, this is NOT the place.

This is our favorite go to place whenever we get midnight cravings for meat. We always order the LA Galbi. Service is also great since the staff are very approachable and will be the one to cook the meat. I just get surprised sometimes when they greet incoming customers loudly. Their complementary soup is also good!

Before i write down this review.. I just want to say that I myself am korean, and ive been to a crap ton of various KBBQ places.Don’t come to this branch, because:1. Service is.. mediocre.. at best (if not annoying)2. Quite pricey compared to quality over price in other KBBQs3. Flies here and there having a good time taking a nap on the meat that’s served on your table4. Ordered Bibim Naengmyeon and Mul Naengmyeon - the worst I have ever freaking tasted. It literally tasted BLAND. They managed to achieve this on a dish that is supposed to be spicy, i don’t know how in the world they’ve managed to do this, quite curious really.5. The employees here greet you coming in and out in an obnoxiously loud voice, not in an enthusiastic manner, but more in a screaming manner which is honestly ridiculously annoying6. Soup = Salt , Salt = Soup (They fixed it after we told them though)7. Meat tastes like how it should taste, nothing amazing here lolBut hey they managed to get the lettuce right - and they give you gum, so thats nice

The location was accessible, the guard and service crews were very enthusiastic in greeting the customers. The food was great, 800 for two people was pretty much okay, the side dishes were also good not to mention its refillable. The kimchi was great, not too sour nor spicy 👍🏼. Good for barkada gathering.

Our favorite Korean BBQ resto! The newly renovated look is awesome and is very modern. More tables now too. The staff are still all very nice and friendly. But the staff to tables ratio is now a bit low so you won't be noticed as easily now.Our go-to order here is the samgyupsal and pork galbi. Their Sundubu and Kimchi- Jjigae are so good too. The beef orders are too pricey in my opinion though.

Food: Food was really delicious. Meat tssted very premium. Side dishes were deliciousAmbiance: The place is very loud. Waiters are kinda noisy. Wouldve rated 5 if ambiance was bette4Price: Price isnt too cheap. Just refer to the menu on here. But food is worth the try so you can taste the better meats which you can find in Unli BBQ places

Budget-friendly samgyupsal with good ambiance and clean setting. Meat cuts aren’t worth bragging about but more than enough to satisfy your samgyupsal craving. Good customer service as well. Photo uploaded without post processing

My go-to Korean place, every week or every other week if I’m busy. Great cuts of meat, a nice selection of side dishes, and courteous & attentive servers. An order of woo-samgyub and pork galbi with two orders of rice is enough for two people that are moderately hungry, though I’m yet to try the other items on the menu. They will keep the egg soup and other side dishes coming as long as you still have meat.
