I like Chinese food but prefers Cantonese among all Chinese food. Luk Yuen captures that flavor I am looking for. I've been favoring Luk Yuen over other restaurants ever since I was a little child - my mom would ask me where I want toeat for my birthday and this is where we always end up. I have so many favorites here. The congee with century egg would always be my favorite. Golden chicken and chicken with lemon sauce are great as well, match them with yang chow rice. I recently ordered the chicken bento and was not disappointed. Not a fan of eggplant but their version actually made me eat it. For dessert, it had snow balls included, similar to mochi but with coconut shavings. This is not a high end restaurant so dont expect a lot but service is pretty good and fast and the place is clean.

Really affordable, filling and delicious meals. The free wanton crisps are my favorite! This is my go to place for a quick and savory meal.

We've been going Luk Yuen since the 90s. Our favorite is R5 and their asado siopao. The taste is still the same, and the prices are still reasonable. It's still a good place to eat!

I used to go to Luk Yuen in Makati when I was still living in the Philippines. This was my first visit back in years and I was very pleased that it is still quite good. I had the beef brisket noodles and bola-bola siopao. The place was clean and the service was fast. I will definitely go back when I next visit the Philippines.

This branch being right next to Makati Supermarket in ATC is your next-door-Chinese-dish-craving place. The staff has always been efficient and friendly but the place is long overdue for facilities upgrade. The food is still the same, sumptuous Chinese hot and sour soup, signature congee, yang chow fried rice, battered squid and the usual house tea and bar chow that is always on-the-house. But their special brewed iced tea is always worth ordering.I just hope to see an upgrade on their resto next time we visit for better dining experience.
