This is our go-to place for dinner since it's in the neighborhood. Every time we dine in, we order fried chicken. If not, we'd order noodles. Both match our taste. We especially like the fried chicken's dip. The noodle's soup is plain enough to the taste with just the right amount of saltiness (the way we like it). We like to add in chili oil and pepper. From time to time, we also add fresh lumpia or the hongkong milk tea, or order the chicken feet. The chicken feet were cooked until they were tender and easy to eat. Its taste reminds me of my father's recipe for chicken feet. Lately, we've been fond of the pork dumplings which are very much like the japanese gyoza. They've changed the shop's look though. We prefer the previous floor layout and the high tables and chairs.

Yummylicious!! Yes dear eaters, Lucky House has a special fresh lumpia blend that is undeniably oriental. Their lumpia has crab sticks and some crispy sotanghon inside. They also have really good maki- the gooey, flavorful brown soup, complete with peppery, breaded pork. Their dumpling was worth the price too. I must say though that their gohiong (kikiam) is nothing spectacular. Something I won't be buying from them in the near future. However, I will def be back for some quick, cheap, yet filling Chinese meal.

we ordered fresh lumpia, kikiam, fried chicken, and buko pandan. Fresh lumpia was a bit bland (sauce dependent) but ok for the price. The kikiam was too small for the price and it was dry and overcooked but I like the sauce. The fried chicken tasted like from some famous chinese restaurant in Binondo which I really like. Lastly for the buko pandan, it was ok not too sweet and okay for the price.I really wanted to try fresh lumpia since I always pass by this restaurant and I was always in search for good fresh chinese lumpia but got disappointed.5/7/2018 update: I tried tasting their fresh lunpia again, the flavor improved. awesome! But overall experience was good, staffs are attentive and the service is good.

My go-to-restaurant whenever I crave for fresh lumpia. Why? Because they give unli lumpia sauce, chili sauce, and they offer good fresh lumpia (comparing to those offered in the malls). We like their chicken, as well. We’ll try their noodles next time.
