Affordable with good serving size. My fave is their dumpling lamien which is 120.00 php. Lan Zhou definitely serves the best dumplings in Binindo.

Even though the restaurant is quite small, their servings are quite big, and the food is tasty too! We often order the beef lamien, which we think is good for two. Although we see a lot of people dining in, and finishing more than one bowl of noodles. We also like their steamed kuchay dumplings, almost as good, if not better, to the one in Dong Bei. A must-try if you're in the area.

This place serves one of the most authentic hand pulled noodles, you could even watch how they make it. Their beef la mien is served piping hot, with beef so tender and juicy. This bowl may be good for two especially if youare going to order other meal with it. Their dumpling is really good too. If 15 pcs is too large for your group, you may order it in half. The meal also comes with a free hot tea or you may request it from the servers. Just be careful not to get burned because it is served in a water glass (I nearly dropped mine when it was served to me).The place is not fancy. It is somewhat similar to an airconditioned carinderia. However, the prices and the food makes up for it. Really good noodles, I really love it!

This is the best La Mien restaurant I have ever been to. There is no other competition in Binondo. I have been here at least 30 times and I have concluded that my absolute favorite is the Beef Knife Mien with their absolutely indescribably delicious steamed dumplings. I live in taguig but the travel time and braving the traffic is beyond worth the reward. If you are ever near this place you MUST go. You will thank me later.

Beef LamienIt may seem a typical beef noodle soup at the first look. But digging deeper into the savory goodness, Murt (who initially dug up the noodle dish) found his heavenly place. Upon his first sip, he was not impressed much. He adds some of the homemade chili-garlic mix into the Beef Lamien giving it its Sizzling Kick. I personally tried this Beef Lamien to look for its uniqueness. Surprisingly, the Sizzling Kick of the Chili Garlic really leveled-up the taste. The hand-pulled noodle takes up a texture that’s totally different from the instant. The broth of the Beef Lamien complements the Beef chunks braised beautifully. We can literally make beef flakes with the tenderness of the beef. Mixed with a bunch of spices, the beef stands out and perfectly plays its role as the crown of the noodle dish.Serving Size vs. PriceFilling up a medium ceramic bowl, it may seem enough for an average citizen of this food nation for only PhP 140.00. But for foodies as big as us it may be perceived as a little bit less than our average portion size.
