Food was excellent. Very well cooked vegetables, fried rice and 3 cup chicken. Even the pork chop was nice and tasty. The food is a mix of chinese with taiwanese influence. Everything was excellent except the slow preparation time! The restaurant was only ¼ full and they took so long to serve the food.

Lam Dynasty is a hidden gem tucked away on the 2nd floor of the Pacific Center. It doesn’t boast on serving authentic Chinese cuisine, but serves Fujian-style dishes that we grew up and loved. Incidentally, the origin of the restaurant dates back to the 1950s. It was called Marquina Restaurant (萬金藍), located along Marquina Street (hence the name) in Binondo. It was a famous restaurant (go ahead and ask your parents or grandparents) known for their crab rice and fine seafood. The restaurant was eventually sold to another group, expanded it, and finally closed down during the 1980s. In 2010, one of the sons of the original Marquina founder reopened the restaurant and named it Lam Dynasty, hoping to provide the same good food that they used to known for to the generations of today.

We went here for a reunion with my Ninang. I like their oyster cake, crabs and spinach soup. Definitely will comeback to try other food. :-)

Tried their famous crab rice and it was surprisingly good. Sadly their location is a bit off and very hard for people to find unless you will be eager to look for their location. Hoping they could revamp their menu and upgrade their business marketing to sell or improve their food.

Staff and the owners are very accomodating. I tried this place and i was amazed with the wide selection of food. There were too many that i couldnt decide. Good thing that the server suggested the bento box/set meal which is quite cheap considering that it has soup, rice, veggies and meat (seafood, pork, beef or fish). Definitely a complete meal and an affordable one!

This is the second stop on our Binondo Food Crawl and it did not disappoint.I am absolutely in love with their double crab fried rice! I've to say that Lam Dynasty's version was one of the best I've tasted in my life. The portion is pretty big and could easily feed 3-4 people. There's also a good amount of huge, visible REAL crab meat. Rice was tasty, seasoned just right, and could very well stand on its own.We also tried the Soy Squid which is one of their best-selling dishes. Another winner. It had great blend of different flavours. The squid was cooked to perfection and there was that hint of sweetness at the end that I really liked.Seriously this place can't get any better. I will definitely come back to try other dishes. Solid eats.

Soy squid crab rice fried oyster cha yo chi and liver, salt and pepper spare ribs those are my favorite items. Service or cooking time quite slow , that's the only downside

At first glance, Lam Dynasty seems like a fairly new Chinese restaurant located at the second floor of the Pacific Centre. Little do people know, the owner of Lam Dysnasty is the son of the original founder of Marquina - a classic Binondo favorite been around since the 1950s but eventually closed down. It's located in a fairly new commercial building, offering a more modern feel compared to the classic hole-in-the-wall Binondo restaurants, but it attempts to bring back old flavors that has been around since the 1950s.This was the second stop in our Binondo food crawl and it's not as popular as other Binondo mainstays. After trying out some of their bestsellers, I became very impressed with their food that I have been wanting to come back ever since. Here's our Lam Dystansty experience...

We had our late dinner here on a rainy saturday night. We ordered crab rice, sweet and sour pork, oyster and maki soup, we have dine here several times already, we love their crab rice even though abit pricey love it, all the food tasted great at a reasonable price serving is good for 2 to 3 person.

Just had lunch today after reading reviews. The calamares tasted okay at 240 pesos. But their specialty the 2 scoops crab meat fried rice at 200 pesos is not better the yang chow fried riee of others. Waited for 20 minutes. Free tea. A few steps away at the foodcourt one can enjoy  a 1 scoop rice meal for 55 pesos only. The senior discount is only 10 pesos instead of the 29% off.  There is a HK Wong Kee 3 star resto on the ground floor.
