Hustisya. Hustisya. Pero sabi nga nila promo to so ienjoy niyo nalang......#food #website #foodphoto #foodporn #foodpic #foodblog #flatlay #influencerph #foodinfluencer #metrofoodph #yummyph #foodstagramph #whattoeatph #manilaeatup #manilaeats #zomatoph #forkandspoonmanila #foodtrip #masarapba #lolooph #websiteph #wheninmanila #pinoyfood #foodblogfeed #buzzfeedfood #EEEEATS #thefoodadvenchers #beautifulcuisines #eatsasmallworld

Love the Kare-kare but small serving for the price. Also love the crispy pata. Good for once in a while pinoy food cravings. A bit pricey. Hope they offee family meal promos. Place is also quite small. You have to wait long before you can be given a seat during lunch time.

There is a wide array of choices of food from soup to desserts. Ideal for family members or peers ro eat. Pricing is tolerated for occasional binge eating :)

I really liked everything we ordered. Their Kare Kare was on point. My mom even ordered another plate of rice just to finish the left over sauce! Their Crispy Pasta was so good. All the meat were intact. In fact, their crew chopped it in front of us to ensure that we are really getting what we paid for. Some restos serve their Crispy Pata na you can see the bone na. Their Lechon Kawali was my personal favorite (A+ for the special sauce, I super loved it!) and their Halo-halo was superb. I'll definitely come back.

Though we didn't wait that long to get a table, their service is bad. Some utensils are missing when they led us to our table, you have to ask for it. We ordered dessert and asked to be served after we ate our meals but it was the first thing they served.🙄 Service crew are uncoordinated. One girl even came in and was asking for a donation and the crew didn't asked her to go. It's not that I don't like to give but it's annoying to have someone bugging you for a certain amount when you're eating and she even sit beside me.😱Food was okay but not recommendable. 😁 This was the second time we ate at Kuya J(different branches) and I was disappointed on both times. 👎 I'm not sure if I'll be giving a third chance.😅 Pero pwede na sa taong gutom.😂😂

Servers are polite and very accomodating :) Ambience... Well it was a Sunday and there were lots of people, so naturally there was a lot of chit-chatting! But place is clean and nice. I forgot to take pictures before they were devoured because we wwre really hungry 🤭Food:Crispy Pata - I think this is their specialty? It lived to our expectations! Crispy, fatty (of course!) but still meaty, and most of all, the pork was tender and well seasoned! We were really happy with this.Garlice rice - Really good! It had some margarine too which made us reminisce of our childhood meals at home.Daing na Bangus - Good! But nothing special.Sisig - it wasn't sizzling much when it came to our table, but just enough that the egg was cooked, but we hoped it really came very hot... 🔥Taste is good but it seemed like corned beef! I think it was shredded pork, but it really didn't taste like sisig! It was also sweet for our taste.Tortang talong - We really didn't like this because it was too starchy. We couldn't even taste the eggplant itself... I wonder if they really serve it this way or perhaps they were just overwhelmed with the amount of customers.Saba Con Yelo (? Not sure if I got the name right) - It was huge and I suggest it for sharing unless you're a growing kid haha. Its shaved ice was a bit creamy but not that tasty... There's langka on top which was delicious. The saba was not as soft as I would like it to be. I wish it was cooked more. Its sago was big (like milk tea pearls) but again, I wish they'd cooked it longer with brown sugar.

They have a nice interiors with an affordable set of meal and attentive staffs. The service is quite satisfying and the food is worth the price.

We dined at 9pm, near closing time. Here's a brief summary of the bad experience me and my family had that night:1. We got served with the wrong food which was supposed to be for another table2. One of the glasses for water had a pink lipstick stain on it when it arrived on our table3. Our iced tea, had NO ICE, and was served only AFTER we finished eating because the waiter kept forgetting to get it for us (we asked for water thrice and still didn't get it)4. We had an incomplete order (we ordered a family bundle) and the waiter even argued with us that our set didn't include that specific dish. When we presented him the menu, he was surprised to see that the dish was really included and he had NO CLUE as a staff that it was a part of the bundle.5. We waited for approx. 20 minutes for the missing dish when we were later informed that it was no longer available. So when they didn't agree for a refund, they instead gave us with LEFTOVERS that was meant to be eaten by the staff. We even saw the waiter getting a portion from the leftovers and placing it on a plastic container to be given to us.Our experience was so horrendous that we will NEVER eat at this place again. It was even our first time trying the place and we ended up marked with anger and pure disgust.

Had a good dining experience... pickled vegetable side dish taste great... The danggit fried rice and the cucumber shake are good. Service has to be improved even though staff is fairly courteous but you feel the lack of passion in doing their jobs. Desserts are also good but I haven't tried their Crispy Pata yet

Food was good, not really great. Some of the food were just plain or just bland although the halo halo was so good.Service is a different story. It takes time for them to serve the orders, the last time, it took them more than 30 mins to serve all the foods.Probably the reason why I said my food review. Either the food is just bland or I already lost my appetite because I was upset of their service.
