Food is still excellent for an informal Filipino restaurant in your community. I recall visiting this restaurant yrs back again, when I was amazed with how great their bagnet was. Pleased to report that the meals is still quite definitely as effective as I rememberedit. Their bibingka is actually a bit much better but their menu products are very good overall. My children and I acquired a great time here when I final visited. We weren't disappointed making use of their lengua dish, pancit, and pinakbet. Service was great. Will certainly go back next time I'm in your community for Filipino food.

this was formerly situated in SM North Edsa Annex but moved a couple of days ago to the primary mall. the meals choices will be the usual Filipino meals. We purchased grilled squid, pakbet and sinigang na lechon and I have to state that the sinigang na lechontastes great (though we are able to surmise that is leftover lechon). The grilled squid is tender however, not rubbbery and has been gone in virtually no time at all. Assistance is quick and the area is clear. The only real let down may be the cost, should be less costly.

We tried their Laing, Sisig and Pork binanggongan i possibly could say foods flavor good. Quite definitely kapampangan style. Nevertheless serving is soo minimum compare to its cost. No wonder very little of individuals dine in right here. Hoping someday they might upgrade theyre helping in toomuch a lot more than it should have. Therefore i could only give 2 star..

KKK is the kind of eating place where you passes by, someone gives you a menus and you may say, we'll consider it until you as well as your friends/household felt really hungry that you made a decision to dine inside KKK. No anticipations or whatever from my firsttime eating in KKK with buddies, I was impressed on what the Pancit Guisado preferences like plus their Pandan tea would be to die for. Since i quickly recommended KKK to friends and family. That has been 2010, fast forwards to 2014 KKK had been among my itinerary when I returned to Philippines. I skipped the Pancit Guisado and the Pandan Tea. It had been also the truth to flavor their Pasta in Light Sauce with Tinapa. Atmosphere is quite cozy, dark-lit to create it experience homey. You can even obtain the sense of personal privacy as each tables had been split by columns. Filipiniana will be needless to say the motif as KKK (Kataastaasan, Kagalanggalang Katipunan) where in fact the cafe got its title is a big section of Philippine History, never to confuse with the Ku Klux Klan. Therefore if you are a foreigner who's alert to Ku Klux Klan (that is also called KKK), this is simply not what the Philippine significance of it, besides it is a restaurant. Price could be a little bit pricey thinking of to the part they serve. However, the meals you get will probably be worth it. Waiting period for food could be long but nearly all restaurants are like this but not excellent in case you are very hungry. Personnel are courteous and pleasant.

First the nice stuff: 1. Food flavor is really a little above common however, not that exceptional. 2. They will have Tanglad Juice which can be purchased in pitcher dimension (for 2-3 individuals) 3. Supervisor politely apologized for a particular boo-boo during our visit The bad: 1.These were playing loud tunes, and something of the waiters loudly sang along even though he was off-key... it caught me by shock as possible offensive specifically for tourists 2. Flies are around! They only have got these citronela candles that don't just work at all. It ruined our consuming. 3. Too much staff who have been loitering round the dining area 4. The shrimps within their (self-proclaimed best-promoting) "okoy" weren't de-veined. The prepared veins grew to become squishy and just a little off-putting. 5. We purchased "Halaan" (clam) soup. Among the clams has been shut, it was opened up by my sister also to her horror discovered the shell filled up with sand... prepared sand >< We educated our waiter and the supervisor rapidly apologized (and I stated make sure that all clams are usually open the next time) Overall, so-so. You can find greater authentic Filipino dining places in the vicinity.

Some of the foods were great, though I was disappointed making use of their creamy cheesy scallops. I had been expecting it to end up being baked with A whole load of cheese however when I could taste it, right now there wasn't significantly cheese and much more on Mayo. Theservings weren't much in comparison to their steep cost. After all in other dining places, the servings were massive with exactly the same kind of pricing. ALTHOUGH tinapa rice is great...alongside the lengua too. Therefore I'd say great up to now. It had been satisfying still.

Just had lunch at the megamall branch. The sunday lunch time crew is horrible. And its nothing like they dont have sufficient individuals. The crew was not managed well today. The lengua we ordered was served really late. So when I informed the crewto simply cancel it once we were going to finish consuming lo and behlod they abruptly served it following a minute. Another tables were also complaining about lacking orders being served later. This is my third amount of time in this branch - because to be honest the food isn't bad therefore i was returning. But that is easily among the worst service. In no way coming back.

Food was good, especially the scallops. Though I got a minor allergic attack after eating several. we speculated that the scallops might not be fresh anymore. Nevertheless, I nevertheless enjoyed it. The sinigang with salmon was also good. I loved the mixture of thefish and veggies, especially when when compared to normal pork sinigang that I'm used to eating. The grilled pork stomach was furthermore delicious and incredibly tender. Most likely the best dish that people ordered that day. Two comments about the employees of KKK at SM North: One woman was publicly counting their money in the restaurant, amongst eating customers, that was a bit improper. Three workers, probably one may be the manager, kept discussing folks from their company. My children and I possibly could hear their chatter since we had been seated close to the entrance. I have no idea about you, but we sensed that what these were doing has been inappropriate within their type of workplace.

KKK on megamall is probably among the places in which a foreigner has quick access to local meals. Most restaurants usually do not serve regional food, therefore i was delighted to get KKK. Had Sinigang, that is like tom yum (Thai) without chili, and karekare, whichis like satay sauce (Malay) without sweetness. Overall the restaurant did great, but I must be honest to state also that Philippines foods is not fantastic in comparison to various other southeast asian cuisines.
