KKK is the kind of eating place where you passes by, someone gives you a menus and you may say, we'll consider it until you as well as your friends/household felt really hungry that you made a decision to dine inside KKK. No anticipations or whatever from my firsttime eating in KKK with buddies, I was impressed on what the Pancit Guisado preferences like plus their Pandan tea would be to die for. Since i quickly recommended KKK to friends and family. That has been 2010, fast forwards to 2014 KKK had been among my itinerary when I returned to Philippines. I skipped the Pancit Guisado and the Pandan Tea. It had been also the truth to flavor their Pasta in Light Sauce with Tinapa. Atmosphere is quite cozy, dark-lit to create it experience homey. You can even obtain the sense of personal privacy as each tables had been split by columns. Filipiniana will be needless to say the motif as KKK (Kataastaasan, Kagalanggalang Katipunan) where in fact the cafe got its title is a big section of Philippine History, never to confuse with the Ku Klux Klan. Therefore if you are a foreigner who's alert to Ku Klux Klan (that is also called KKK), this is simply not what the Philippine significance of it, besides it is a restaurant. Price could be a little bit pricey thinking of to the part they serve. However, the meals you get will probably be worth it. Waiting period for food could be long but nearly all restaurants are like this but not excellent in case you are very hungry. Personnel are courteous and pleasant.

First the nice stuff: 1. Food flavor is really a little above common however, not that exceptional. 2. They will have Tanglad Juice which can be purchased in pitcher dimension (for 2-3 individuals) 3. Supervisor politely apologized for a particular boo-boo during our visit The bad: 1.These were playing loud tunes, and something of the waiters loudly sang along even though he was off-key... it caught me by shock as possible offensive specifically for tourists 2. Flies are around! They only have got these citronela candles that don't just work at all. It ruined our consuming. 3. Too much staff who have been loitering round the dining area 4. The shrimps within their (self-proclaimed best-promoting) "okoy" weren't de-veined. The prepared veins grew to become squishy and just a little off-putting. 5. We purchased "Halaan" (clam) soup. Among the clams has been shut, it was opened up by my sister also to her horror discovered the shell filled up with sand... prepared sand >< We educated our waiter and the supervisor rapidly apologized (and I stated make sure that all clams are usually open the next time) Overall, so-so. You can find greater authentic Filipino dining places in the vicinity.
