Dined here thinking that I would enjoy another karate kid dine-in on a different branch, well I was wrong. Pork tastes like fish(?). Chicken teri tastes somewhat different from what I order on other branches. Dissatisfied over-all.

I give this japanese restaurant a very low score. Ordered a beef teriyaki bento. Presentation is good but the down side was the food is cold. Rice was hard (not a japanese rice) and the soup lacks the miso flavor. The only satisfying part was the takoyaki side dish. Good bonito shavings, filling and sauce. The best part: it's warm! Will come back for it only.

I like this place especially when I crave for Japanese food on a budget. The food is delicious but the serving time is quite long, you'll receive your food around 20-30 mins after you order. And the place is a bit dark (i dont know if it is the design or the lighting) and not clean enough (dirty and slimy).

Me and my friend tried Karate Kid in Robinsons Manila 4th Level. If you're looking for a fast food restaurant definitely this is not the best but their food was actually good. I didn't expect it. I totally forgot what I ordered but I remember how much I paid (189.00 pesos). It includes Chicken Katsudon, 2pcs California Maki, 2pcs Potato Balls, Ice Tea and Pancit Canton. It's like a Bento Meal. What I don't like was there's no mayo on California Maki but overall it's good. Visit my blog galakaen.wordpress.com

I tried this in Landmark UG Foodcourt in Makati.Ramen does not taste like real Ramen and was oily.Gyudon is so-so, it's just the excess oil.Maki's rice is saggy and hard. Slightly uncooked but the taste is okay.Katsu was nice.Shashimi looks appetizing but needs to be cooler and slightly frozen to be good.

Karate Kid has already been here since college days and to think still plenty people are eating here. I went today with my friend who's not a fan of restaurants. He wants fastfood but I told him to try it for a change. So we entered. The huge picture of bento outside was overwhelming. It looks yummy but it was dated until may 2014, so we askef if it's still available. And so it still is. We ordered for the beef teriyaki yakisoba bento, sizzling tofu steak and california maki.I'm happy that he loved the food. The sizzling tofu steak was good enough for 2 and the taste was fine, i like the gyoza of the bento because it was filled with meat and not just all wrap. The yakisoba was tasty and he's happy about it. The california maki rice is not the ordinary rice which is good and the mayo really adds flavor to it. The beef teriyaki was tender and easy to eat as well. He was surprised because it's not that expensive and the food was great. He's even asking to come and eat there again next week. Talk about sure coming back. Thanks guys for the good food today. We are really happy and full...

Karate Kid is a Japanese fast food restaurant. The food here are similar to Tokyo Tokyo. The taste of their items are okay but it's not really authentic. However, the prices of their meals are very affordable. It's perfect for those who do not want to spend a lot but like to eat Japanese food.

This establishment is not crowded, I bit dark inside the menu is same with other Japanese fast food. I have their sizzling tepanyaki, nothing to brag about, it was so so, price the same as for me a bit if high if you are a student.

After the worst catering service from Aling Nene, I just had it. Im hungry. I wanna eat something cheap & so-so on taste. Besides, pasko na. Yung mga inaaanak kong ni buhok hindi ko man lang nakita ng isang buong taon biglang magpapaalam ng kanilang existence. Kailangan magtipid. Lol Going back, I used to think Karate Kid was better than Tokyo Tokyo. But now, I guess they're on the same level of no food loving cookery. Whatever came to our table, should never be eaten by anyone except for their Spam Maki. I liked that. The spam was thick. The condiments that they added was nice to the taste & there's little sweet surprise of cooked egg white. But everything else blek. Seafood Teppanyaki was too salty. The rice of the cali maki overcooked. The tempura had a crunchy outside but super mushy more of uncooked batter inside. Tempura Ramen, 0 thoughts for it. Seafood Katsu was okay. Corn Kani Soup was bland. Yakisoba, mas masarap di hamak yung pancit canton sa carinderia. Hayyyyy kalungkot. Buti nalang masarap yung juice & spam maki. 😒
