This food joint really stands by its name, Hunger Buster. Whenever I go to University Mall with my friends, we always get to notice this. I decided to give it a try after reading good reviews from the website app. I ordered the Dying burger (Php 120.00) and upgraded it to a solo combo meal (+ Php 50.00). I only waited for about 5 minutes to get my food. Plating wise, the way the food was presented made it look appetizing. The burger was good, the patty is thick and has the grilled flavor in it. It was a bit messy to eat but it’s nice that they provide gloves to diners. The fries, I think, is cut too big?? It is good even though it is unseasoned. The red tea was okay, nothing special and tastes like an ordinary juice. The place is very welcoming. The tables and seats are clean. Good ventilation. Good and fast service. Would definitely go back to try their wings.

Hunger buster is a burger joint that has a good pricing for their meal, they aim to serve students that’s nearby and those who are in a tight budget. What i like at hunger buster is their Dying burger which is huge for a single serve meal and you would love every single bite of that dying burger with that oozing cheese on the side a warning to burger lovers this is a messy burger!

One of the nicest things about being in a university is having access to good and affordable food near your campus. Hunger Buster is one of those places that can attest that you don't need a lot of money to enjoy good food.Serving huge burgers for less than PHP 200, this place is definitely a bang for your buck. With its generous servings, flavorful patties, and student-friendly prices, I highly recommend this place for your burger cravings.I was able to try samples of their burgers, and while all are equally tasty, my personal favorite would definitely be the Burning Burger. It's your classic burger mixed in with some Chili Con Carne, making a nice explosion of meaty goodness in your mouth. It's really yummy, I'd definitely come back for that.Their wings are also quite good, considering the price. I love the Sriracha wings, which isn't really too spicy but have the right amount of kick to make your taste buds happy.Rating:Food: A- (generous servings, delicious patties)Price: A (perfect for the budget conscious)Ambiance: BService: ALocation: A (just beside LRT1!)Verdict: Love burgers but don't want to spend too much? I barely go to Manila area because of the travelling issue. However, I heard that there is new burger restaurant in Taft, which offers huge patty and different variety of burgers. Hunger Buster is easy to find. It is located in University Mall just beside LRT Vito Cruz. I noticed that a lot student dining-in during their break time or even after school. Burgers are affordable from P100 to P130 or add P50 to P90 to make it a combo meal. Aside from their mouthwatering Burgers, they also have 4 flavors of wings and rice meals. Top of my choice is the Sriracha-Honey Wings. This is a must-try finger food of Hunger Buster. The interior and ambiance is good & very instagrammable. Verdict: Hunger Buster is way better than Zarks Burger when it comes to pricing and quality of patty. I just love my dining experience here.

This place had a very good venue since its just beside DLSU. The burgers were really worth the price and the french fries they had were next level! Salute to the owners for making a very nice resto :)

First time to try Hunger Buster and really happy with their food. Not a fan of burgers though but their wings are sooooo good! It has the same quality as Frankie’s but they got different flavors that makes them stand out (well in way). Ordered Sriracha Honey and Honey BBQ. The next time I crave for wings in Malate, Hunger Buster it is!

It’s me and my college friends’ go-to wings spot. The price is cheap for their food because it’s really yummy and their wings are bigger compared to other wings place. It’s place is accessible and they have enough space to accommodate their customers. Hoping they’ll have garlic parmesan wings and other flavors soon.

Very underrated :( you can tell that the burgers are made fresh - you can spot thr ground beef and the onions. The buns are toasted with butter and even have sesame seeds on top! Tried the dying and craving on diff days, and both were 5-star worthy burgers. Their fries are thick-cut and not too greasy. Wings are on the salty and drier side but still good for their price. Their iced tea is quite different as well! On one of our visits we saw the owner (?) deliver the buns, onions, and even the dishwashing liquid himself. Staff seem to work together harmoniously among themselves and even with the boss.Must try if you are after burgers worth the price sans the undeserved hype!! I hope they relocate to a better branch so they get the exposure they deserve. :)

It's ok burgers are not good at all butt wings are good .... burgers tastes very bad and I mean bad it take a lot for me not to like something I love burgers but this place needs to be shut down if they just make burgers wish I knew the owner I would have mouth full for him

September 26, 2018 I brought Puppycat out for an early dinner after I picked her up from school. This is our first time at Hunger Buster and it will definitely be not our last. We ordered the following:Dying Burger with French fries and red iced tea - Puppycat said this was awesome! I wanted to take a picture of how it looks like on the inside of the burger but it was half way gone in no time. This has bacon, mushroom and melted cheese.Starving with fries and water - delectable barbecue sauce and raw onions slathered on top of a beef burger patty in a sesame seed bun. When this was first served I thought the size was small because Puppycat was almost finished with hers so fast. Matakaw lang pala talaga anak ko. It took me a good 15 to 20 minutes to get through mine. While I was happily chomping away, I was thinking wow this is actually a good serving. The French fries are crispy and well seasoned.1 pound wings in 2 flavors Sriracha honey and honey mustard - I'm a fan! The wings are well coated with their flavorful sauces, served fresh and hot! I appreciate so much that I can truly taste the Sriracha and the mustard. Everytime I would bite down on a wing, sauce and chicken juices would dribble down my chin. Ahhhhh delicious!I agree with Puppycat, Hunger Buster not only takes care of your food cravings but they also take care of your wallet. We ordered so much but our bill was only 560 pesos with take home. They also have consistency when it comes to the food they're serving, what you see is what you get. Puppycat wanted to try their milkshakes but none were available today. Each diner is also provided with plastic gloves, excellent idea on their end! We were able to eat with so much gusto since we didn't have to worry about getting our hands dirty. The restaurant is also very clean.I would have given them a perfect score if only the servers were ok. They weren't awful but it was like we were such a bother to arrive at a time when there were hardly any people. Parang nakakaistorbo kami sa oras ng pahinga nila. When I was placing my order, the woman behind the counter kept on interrupting me and wanting to compute our bill. I said, "Miss can you please wait? I'm still not finished." There were 2 other diners in the store when we sat down and as Puppycat and I were eating our meal we found ourselves breaking into a sweat. I stood up and went to the counter to ask if they could please turn on the air conditioning, they did. For me, they should have automatically opened the a/c instead of waiting for someone to complain. Very bad customer service. I hope someone from management will read this and correct their staff. Your food is good but it wouldn't hurt at all if the service crew could exert a little more effort in making customers feel welcome.
