Hainanese Chicken Rice comes from the Chinese subtropical island of Hainan and many of the sons and daughters of Hainan migrated to Singapore. The most-popular dish of Hainan is the Chicken Rice in which a chicken is used in all ways — poached for the meat, the soup is used to make a deliciously flavoured rice and to also infuse the chili sauce. Thus, Hainanese Chicken has become one of Singapore’s top loved dishes. I have long discovered this awesome Singaporean specialty dish at Hainanese Delights. I could vividly recall the very first time I had eaten this dish and I was blown away because it was so good. The only caution is to go easy on the chili and ginger sauce to make the dish more enjoyable. (I'm a chili fan so I used a lot of ginger and chili so you can probably imagine the intense heat because I was perspiring while eating!) I love the simplicity of boiling/soaking chicken in the broth (water). I made Hainanese style chicken several times and my family loved it. However, the preparation itself will require much patience, from gathering all the necessary ingredients because you also had to have minced ginger, spring onion oil condiment and use store bought dark sweet soy sauce to give the dish some nice contrast down to the chicken fat trimmings—it takes so much of your time. So each time we’d like to crave and enjoy Hainanese Chicken, we look no further, Hainanese Delights is the place to go!Hainanese Delights offers two different kinds of chicken--Hainanese Classic Chicken dish and Hainanese Fried Chicken. Both dishes are fantastic. They also make a really good broth. The chicken was cooked just right, the taste subtle and clean. The rice was rich and sinful. The chili sauce hot and fresh.I absolutely love their Chicken Rice moist chicken breast meat and their crunchy Radish cake dipped in vinegar. I’d also say the same mmmm yummy goodness to their Spicy Fried Squid (called Eat the Heat). Highly recommended would have to be their Tofu Terrific—large cubes of tofu immersed in deliciously sweet soy sauce concoction. Oh, and please do not forget to order their deep fried mantao. Paired with their Laksa Noodle Soup, the mantao perfectly goes well with the Laksa’s flavourful seafood curry and coconut milk based soup. If you're like me who couldn't get enough of their ginger oil sauce and chili sauce, I've got good news for you, they are now made available in small bottles which you could purchase and bring home! Also worth mentioning would be their bottled ginger tea which tastes just as good. I've had tasted it during the Hainanese Delights grand re-opening, and I swear it is a whole lot better than my good 'ol salabat tea powder at home. I suggest you guys should try it for yourselves. I guarantee, they won't put a hole in your pocket. Prices are affordable without sacrificing its quality. Just a word of advice though, don't expect Hainanese Delights to be as authentic as the ones being served in Singapore. Mr. Valentino Enriquez, Hainanese Delights General Manager had explained that they had to twist (just a bit) the recipes on their menu to suit the discriminating Filipino palate.

The restaurant was fine, i enjoyed my meal though i just noticed their rice has alot of MSG, and also they use regular oil for the garlic oil sauce. My only concern is that the place was too warm, maybe they didn't turn on the AC or their AC is not enough to cool the whole place.

One of the places I'd quickly visit whenever I crave for singaporean hainanese chicken rice. For only Php 149 (used to be 139), their quarter size hainanese chicken already comes with unlimited soup and chicken rice. I was kinda disappointed because during my latest visit, the ran out of soup which is one of the reasons why I wanted to eat there that time. Their ginger also taste really good with their chicken but the soy sauce of the chicken was too salty for me. You can also choose the option of noodle soup instead of chicken rice but it's not unlimited. There's nothing special about the noodles soup though. Ambience is average with accommodating servers.

Disappointed. Chicken's not tasty compared to the one I tasted along P. Faura "to go" resto. It's so oily and bland. The ginger sauce is not that also good. I asked the lady why the chicken is not freshly cooked and hot, she just answered me that's the way it is served like cold cuts. Oh my, never again I will comeback in this poser restaurant!

It took forever to get the food. The staff was terrible as if they hated their job. I had to ask five times to get a glass of water, which they put on my table as I was walking out. The food was very small portioned and the taste was barely decent. If I could turn back time I would.

The Best Hainan Chicken I've tried so far in the Philippines was in Spiral Sofitel Phil. Plaza. So when we saw this in Robinson quickly we decided to have try after shopping! We ordered ofcourse Hainanese Chicken was good but it needs to tender more. We ordered "take the cake" on the menu description they said its crunchy but it wasn't, not even dip fried but i really like it! You wouldn't notice it was made from Radish. We had Kutchay Craze a pork and shrimp dumpling good enough. I love the Chapchae a Korean fried noodles, really good to try. The rice nothing special but its good. Staff were friendly but slow in service.

We ordered Hainanese delights white chicken and dumplings. This is a go to budget restaurant when you want to eat hainanese chicken. Food is so so. They offer unlimited hainanese rice.

It was late lunch when we went there. So we ordered hainanese chicken and chicken bbq. Taste is good, i like their ginger. Plus this is unli rice. A bit pricey for the servings but still a good food. I would come back when I crave for hainenese chicken 🙂

If you are craving for that Singaporean-style-cooked chicken, Hainanese Delights offers an affordable option. At P149, you can now have their best-selling white chicken already with a cup of rice. You can have it fried or steamed but we prefer steamed. The chicken broth was tasty! They also offer hainan chicken which we also like as it is also flavorful. Gotta love the chicken skin browned to perfection. We also ordered their pork and shrimp dumplings both were okay although not exceptional. We’d like to try their noodles next. The Eatventurers

Porky Chops and Pork Passionate are my fav especially when it's unlimited rice. The food is cooked well and so easy to cut into pieces. The place is good. The service is quite slow sometimes when you ask them for water and rice it'll take them too long to get what you asked for but sometimes they're good.
