We had made a decision to dine-in at Gumbo North The Block before going to movie house. Meals was superb, a little pricey, ambiance was great. Cost range of our purchase was Php350-1000.

By the name of the restaurant alone, it really is obvious it is attempting to imitate a known establishment in Fresh Orleans . You'll find nothing luxurious concerning this place, but there's however a composed booth with mardi gras clothes for image taking. Staffservice is great, particularly of the girl supervisor who was simply helping out through the peak hr I has been there. Ordered the crispy calamari , nonetheless it is fairly chewy, and the tartar sauce includes a very strong onion flavor. Another item had been the Cajun fried poultry , very tasty and contains a good crispy skin. The poultry and sausage jambalaya has been very flavorful , and I'd consider this an individual favorite. The meat products have become tender, and nicely cooked , therefore i could realize why the orders get to 20 minutes average. You can find 2 kind of servings, the petite and grande, but please be aware that the former alone is wonderful for sharing with 2 individuals, making the purchase price range quite sensible. There is different alternatives in the drinks menus, and I acquired the refillable cola for myself. The meals selection even consist of sandwiches, pasta and pizza, therefore i plan on using the other menu products when I return.

This place is fairly difficult to find hence is quite empty that is a positive thing if you're searching for a quiet spot to eat. For the appetizer we ordered a petite part of four seasons salad that is manufactured from romaine lettuce, kiwis, peaches, grapes and vinaigrette, salad is very good and the petite part has already been enough for us. For our entree we'd a grande part of the spicy seafood gumbo (you might choose to have their much less spicy authentic recipe) which had an excellent stability of savory and spicy tastes. They also offered us a complementary helping of seafood and chips, fish had been tasty and the chips had been okay. Before we still left they gave us a coupon for buy 1 entree get 1 entree free that people might use on our next visit.

This review is for the Gumbo in SM MegaMall, Shaw Boulevard. We dropped set for lunch time but left dissatisfied. The restaurant presents 'New Orleans' meals - I had poultry with (natural) Asparagus and my pal got Lasagne (which she didn't finish). There weren't many staffaround also it was quite hard to get their interest when required. The meals was low quality and over-costed, the environment has been sterile. There are many options for foods in SM Megamall, I will not be time for Gumbo who should 'up their video game' to compete.

The ambiance is normal, the meals great and the non-public is careful enough. Nothing at all beats their seafood jambalaya and greatest paired with baby back again ribs and spicy poultry wings with a glowing blue cheese dip. All i could say is your money can buy we spent deliciouslysuperb supper.

Situated in Gateway Mall within Cubao, Quezon Town ; I was amazed at having less customers dining right here on a higher noon. Because the other dining places beside this are usually jampacked, I made a decision to provide this one a go. This restaurant has seen the timesas the tables and chairs like the menu are quite exhausted and unkept. I purchased the standard dish of fried poultry with java rice. To my disappointment the poultry obviously isnt refreshing, the provider is sloppy thinking of I'm among only 2 customers in those days. Tiny creepy roaches are usually crawling on to the floor and the waiters are usually seemingly lower in spirit. This cafe promises the clients a flavor of New Orleans . I wonder if they're living around it. That is definitely my first and last visit!

The meals was ok. The creole dish and the lasagna had been nice. Seafood and ships had been a bit dry. A few of the portions had been very big though it mentioned 'petite' on the menus. Friendly staff!

Being through New Orleans, in the event that you dont scent the cajun flavor within the parking lot or even the lobby of the eating place dont eat there It taste nothing at all of New Orleans But i'll say the bb ribs was alright all of those other seafood andmeal we brought house for the dogs really overlpriced

Went to Gumbo these days for the first time to celebrate my wife's birthday celebration. I had high anticipations for this location since it's said to be New Orleans cuisine, but proceeded to go away disappointed. We purchased their appetizer sampler (mozarella sticks, poultry wings, calamari, and garlicbread). The moza sticks and calamari had been good however the chicken were small and it seemed as though their tried to create up for that giving us a lot more garlic bread. We furthermore ordered the brand new England clam chowder that was served in the bread bowl - it had been also great. The bottomless beverages were a large plus aswell but things proceeded to go downhill from there. There were six folks and we ordered six main courses also to my surprise the waitress didn't write anything lower. She do recite back again our orders correctly therefore we thought everything has been good to go. Listed below are my ratings and remarks on each dish we purchased: >Ribs - substandard for ribs.. Probably typical for ribs in the philippines... It had been dry and lacking taste. >Honey glazed chicken - part size was good. Taste was good nonetheless it was a little dry. >Poultry jambalaya - tasted nothing beats genuine jambalaya and barely spicy... Poultry on the dish had been also small. >Grilled Chicken Limone - my pal said it had been good.. I didnt reach try it therefore i cant add more >Porkchop- big part and tasted good only a tad salty for the taste >Seafood boil - didnt check it out nonetheless it was supposedly great. A few issues with this though... 1. The waitress forgot to punch this purchase and we didnt learn until about half an hour after everybody else was consuming and nearly done. 2. That they had go out of prawns but our comlanions decided to exchange it with an increase of mussels 3. A few the shellfish were simply flat out muddy if they were opened up (the supervisor did apologize and provided our companion another shell dish to create up because of this) Special mention: the medial side dishes were great and the servers were polite and incredibly prompt inside refilling our drinks. overall, the meals was average but quite overpriced (thank heavens we got a fairly good lower price through Eatigo). They should enhance their food and pay out more focus on details.
