Ganjou is a relatively good place to get your Japanese fix satisfied around Taft. Despite being quite pricey for their proportions, the pricing still fits into a regular student's allowance. They offer decent japanese dishes. I often order the chicken terriyaki and the ebi tempura. The chicken terriyaki is good while the tempura is okay. The ambience is good and clean. Design is consistent. The room temperature is okay. The plates and cutlery is presentable. I find the green chopsticks rather adorable. Situated close to Fully Booked, this is a good place to eat at during longer breaks in school.

One of the few food places I miss in Taft. The place is kinda hard to locate though since it is situated inside the newly built Torre Lorenzo 2. If you see the Fully Booked, go further. I like their omu rice and ganjou rolls. I always order those two and surprisingly, those two only cost around 200 bucks. What I only dislike in the place is their poor network signals.

THE BEST PLACE TO GO FOR AN AFFORDABLE SUSHI!!!! They have the best sushi I have tasted so far in my whole life like the Ganjou Roll and the Torpedo Roll. If you are going to visit this place, you should definitely get those two rolls because they are I-N-S-A-N-E-L-Y GOOD!!! (well i love sushi maybe that's why it's that good for me but whatever) You can also get the salmon skin so you have something else to munch on. It's a really great and an affordable place for your japanese fix. You guys should totally try it!!

I crave for their Spicy Ika Roll! Not my photo, but it's a maki served with a rich, flavorful topping of cubed squid and spicy "mayo." It is served without their signature mayo+black sauce dip, but I usually request for that dip to go with my maki as it brings out the flavor of kani and other stuff rolled inside this maki. What's more is that it's really affordable and satisfying to the last bite. I keep going back to Ganjou for it ^_^ (it deserves to be a favorite ;))---I also used to like their Torpedo Roll...I used to order it a lot, but marginal utility struck. Anyway, I cannot give this a 5.0/5.0 rating anymore because I am now quite disappointed at their Ganjou Roll. I've never had aversion for salmon or tuna, but the flavors of cooked salmon+cheese+special Ganjou sauce just don't mix well together. Event thinking about it makes me cringe.

This place is quite new here at Vito Cruz yet it was a blockbuster already (well that's for me), because the first time we (my boyfriend and I) have been here, during their soft opening, there were only a few who eats here. Maybe it was not well-known yet. But on the following times that we're back, there were no space to eat anymore since it's crowded. Only a few Japanese restaurants are located here in Vito Cruz so whenever I crave for Japanese food, Ganjou is what comes to my mind first. Plus, their food are affordable to think that it is Japanese.
