If you're looking for a katsu place that has a twist in it, this is definitely the place to go!! I always get their chicken katsu. It's really weird at first because unlike the usual katsu that has that sweet sauce on the side and just the katsu on your plate, this has some salty-sweet sauce underneath the katsu and some shredded cabbage on top and tiny chops of red chili pepper. It also comes with their sauce which is like a mayo but not because i think they mixed something in it. So basically it's that katsu with the weird sauce and you're going to have to deep it in the mayo(???). It comes with a cup of rice already. So it's really weird but weird in a good way. The only reason I didn't give a 5 is they should add more stuff on the menu because the rest are already boring for me and not as good. So you'll only go here for their chicken katsu. It's really good! Worth the try!!

Got me looking so CRAZY right now!Chicken Katsu is good, but what gives joy to this dish is the dressing which tastes like the one in Kani Salad. HATE THE GYOZA! Ugh. It's 90% cabbage, 10% wrapper! --> figure of speech. Good ambiance kept in such a small place. Not so good service. WORTH THE MONEY!

Katsu cravings satisfied. 🙂What i liked the most is their soy sauce. It has a light taste perfect for their katsu and cabbage with the basic miso soup. I liked this branch than the one they have in quezon city(though its quite hot). Overall, its a good place to dine when you're craving for katsu with a tight budget. 😁

I never thought that Sesame Oil & Chili Pepper would taste really great together. I also love how crisp the chicken was; fits perfectly with fresh cucumber, carrots, and lettuce.. with steamed eggs on the side, and mayo on top. It's also a pretty big serving; good for dinner or lunch.

If you're a student on a budget but craving for japanese food, crazy katsu is always here to the rescue. With their generous servings of katsu (plus the lettuce with special dressing underneath it), you will surely appreciate it being within the vicinity of taft. This is usually our go-to place whenever me and my orgmates spontaneously decide to out for dinner after a stressful meeting. I loved that they also serve pork ginger (bacon slices stir fried with soy sauce and ginger) though may lack more gingery flavor for those who love the aroma of lots of ginger in their food. Because of the cheap price, their rice though is not pure japanese rice (they mixed ordinary rice with japanese rice). The place is a bit small though and may not be a nice place for big group of friends because of the limited seats. Nevertheless, I'll always remember this place whenever I crave for Japanese food in taft.

This is a no frills Katsu place. The prices have increased since some of my previous visits, but quality hasn't matched the price hike. I usually go for the chicken katsu salad with miso soup or the chicken katsu with rice. I like the chopped chillies on top of the salad, but I've ordered it a couple of times since, and it had no chillies those times. Not sure if they ran out or just forgot.

They have the best chicken katsu ever! The sauce is a really good match for the chicken! The sweetness and spiciness (mild) of their sauce (i think) is the best feature of their dish! The serving size and prize is also good! They really have affordable japanese food (plus it taste really good). I really recommend this place to everyone! Try it now!!

Their Chicken Katsu, served with miso soup and rice, is worth coming back for. It's the right amount of spicy and savory, and it has become an obsession. It's a little bit on the expensive side, but it's worth the try. Their staff has always been nice to us in all the times we've dined there. Their interiors are simple but still fit the theme. They could definitely improve on serving time (which takes about 15 minutes) and interiors to attract more customers since their place looks dull from the outside.

Chicken katsu is really good especially paired with their soy sauce with chili sauce. It’s actually a really good combination and went well together. Would come back for this.
