Very good food considering the price. The place is really crowded during weekends and lunchtime to the point there's a queue outside. I highly recommend this place for your food hopping in Binondo.

We usually go upstairs to Cafe Mezzanine, for the aircondition. But this time, the weather if cool, so is our chance to try Chuan Kee.Food is just the same as Cafe Mezzanine. Only open air.. Same good food. Place is just as clean. Highly recommended.

The restaurant vibe take you on to another world of experience, it seems like you are on the streets of China, the food tasted really great but the prices compared to the ratio of food is a bit expensive. I do still suggest you give it a try, it's still worth it.

Love their 5/5 shrimp hakaw, would definitely brave Manila traffic for this. Xiao Long Bao is ok, their 10pcs order tho is too much for two haha.

I would've given Chuan Lee a perfect rating if it wasn't for the fact that they are understaffed and also a bit overpriced. The many times we were there to dine, we would always encounter servers not knowing which customer to prioritize. In fact the last time we had lunch there, it took 15 minutes to have our pabalot and additional orders. Now, when it comes to food, I must say that this is one of our go-tos when it comes to pancit canton. Their version, called lo-canton, is saucy and perfectly seasoned -- not too salty, just right. Another standout is their kiam pong, although the price should've been slashed to at least P40, not P60. Other must-try here are camaron relleno, their xiao long bao, dumplings and also kikiam and sweet and sour meatballs. And before I forgot, I also love their halo-halo. The cheese on top really adds another flavor to our fave dessert. I just hope the price is also a bit lower. 8

We tried their Kiam pong, pork asado, kikiam, and Xiao Long Bao. We weren’t able to enjoy the xiao long bao much because it congeals more easily than other baos but it was apparent that it would have been good if we ate faster. The kikiam was my favorite here. I would definitely recommend ordering it.

The owner looks strict but she's welcoming. On time ang orders namin at bagong luto, and masasarap, but their hakaw is not freshly made, kase nakita ko na frozen lang sha or galing sa ref, pero masarap pa din naman. Expect a crowded place and closer tables kasi lageng matao ang lugar. I would have given them a 4 or 5 stars pero kasi sobra yung siningil samin nung waitress nila, na-double punch nya yung softdrinks pero isa lang naman nakuha namin, at too bad napansin nalang namin sa receipt nung nakauwi na kami. It would not just be an overlook on the waitress's part kasi nung kinukuha nya pa lang ang orders namin, nabanggit nya na 'ay napindot ko dalawa', and we were under the impression na binago nya to correct it kasi nasa harap pa namin siya nung inaayos nya, pero apparently hindi nya pala napalitan and hinayaan lang.

My colleagues and I were particularly looking for a restaurant that wasn't crowded in Binondo despite the popularity it's been gaining on Facebook. I think we made a couple of rounds before going back to this place since it was very jampacked the first time we passed by.I absolutely enjoyed all the dishes especially the meatballs and their chicken, The only thing that irked me was the 30-40 minute waiting time for some of the dishes (dimsum, hakaw etc.), the waiter suggested that we order the quick to cook meals instead. I think it roughly took us 10-15 minutes to decide and collate our individual orders. Also, some of the staff were very unattentive and my friend also commented that they were a little understaffed. That's why it's quite difficult to dine here during peak hours.
