1st Week of January I was at Metropolitan Medical Center and the line at Cafe France was too long so did not buy anything. On the 2nd week of January since I have important things to do in Binondo make stop over at Cafe France Ongpin and it was really crowded inside. I was able to get a bite of the Tuna pie on a regular day but it was not that thin maybe they were stuff to tight together or there was really a few stuffing inside. Since at P65 on a regular day and buy 1 take 1 on Friday how can you complain. I bought Tuna pie and the coffee bun.Their vegetarian and Hawaian pizza at P115 regular price since it's Buy 1 Take 1 it's much cheaper but in my opinion there was not much topping in it.I brought a whole Wheat bread at P120 (regular or buy 1 take 1).

Sitting right in the heart of Ongpin, this cafe is the perfect place to seek that respite from Chinatown's hustle bustle. Aircondition is always at full blast so it's also the perfect little escape from summer heat. Their brewed coffee is decent. The spicy tuna pie is delish. Service is more efficient compared to my last visit a year ago. Oh, and there's free wifi and it's fast.

It has been a while since my last visit. I must say the branch improved a lot on their service. They were able to serve us quick on the food and all. The place feels comfy.

I had dinner with my mom at Cafe France during one of my bridemaid's gown fitting for my cousin's wedding. Actually, we were left with almost no choice that time, since most of the restaurants in the area are closed already (it was almost 9PM already). My mom had Beef Tapa, while I had Corned Beef Hash. Each meal comes with a drink already -- you can choose between coffee or iced tea. Each of our meal costs around Php 200 each, quite pricey, if you ask me. The food was just okay. The serving size was sooo small. If you're a heavy eater, I discourage you from eating at this place. The plating was not that good too, it's not something you'd expect for a Php 200 meal. The corned beef tasted just okay, seems like canned Purefoods corned beef. The rice was too mushy for my liking. 😞 The food actually seemed like something I would get from a usual (carinderia) silog place. 😟Service was not that good, the cashier was a bit rude and seems like she does not like her job. I also hate how the guards and staff occupy a table to eat their baon! 😒 Don't they have an area at the back? Overall, I won't recommend this branch as you won't get your money's worth. 😞

I stumbled across this excellent find on mere accident, so me coming from America I’m use to the big name Starbucks blah blah blah haha ,but this cafe served me this tall glass of ice latte and for a second I kind of got lost in it , the flavor was 10x better then Starbucks all jokes aside ,I’m not sure what they got cooking up in this place but they are doing something unbelievable ,, and believe me because I’m not a huge coffee fan period. Definitely going to try their breakfast this week that also looked AMAZING.

I love Cafe France but this branch is one of the worst! We really had a bad experience.  The bread that they sell are no fresh, one time the brownie we bought really taste like 5 days old – it’s dull, dry and sandy. The other bread we bought is also quite dry and doesn’t taste fresh compared to other branches. The place is a bit boring and not cozy compare to other coffee shops.
