Affordable and tasty korean barbeque place in Ermita just beside Robinson's. Been eating here since around 2013 and it makes me a bit sad to watch how their service declines through the years. It went from unlimited refillable side dishes to "up to 1 refill only" and now only specific side dishes can be refilled.

We had our Christmas Eve dinner here and we're not disappointed. Really good sets at reasonable prices and prompt service. I just wish there's more variety in the menu, though, and that they don't scrimp on their sides.

I enjoyed their new offer which is the unli meat. I understand that the competition market for now in korean restaurants is really that massive. The fact that almost everyone offers unli meat and side dishes, this restaurant is a worthy for its price. It does cost not more than 600 pesos and they were open to serve up to midnights which is for me in favor because of my busy schedule. Plus The staff were accommodating and attentive, I'll definitely go back for sure :)

A horrible experience. I have actually high expectations on this place. I've got disappointed by their so called policy that each table must be only serve 1 set of refillable side dish. We availed a chosun unli 2 that cost around 580/head. So for 3 people or lets say 10 people will go around fishing for a one set of refillable side dish? imagine 10 people will go dip into one set of side dish. Very un sanitized.I don't get it at all. This needs to be change. The one that served us is unprofessional. This place is over rated. I don't see any special at all and will not recommend this place. This place is not a cafe but a boodle fight korean bbq place when you avail an unli you all get 1 set refillable side dish. I hope someone will sue them against public health too because the place is dirty, see mini cockroaches against the wall. I refuse to pay because of their policy and the way the server handles the food.

I had high hopes for Cafe Chosun but had a very disappointing experience. 1st the place was filthy there were cockroaches. 2nd the policy about having 1 set of side dishes per table is pretty unsanitary and defeats the purpose of unlimited serving to think that we pay for 580/person. 3rd and most important of all the servers were loud and unprofessional. The one who served us had an attitude and was tossing the food around to the point that the oil was splashing on us. Will never eat there again and definitely will not recommend it to anyone.

Was very disappointed with the service. We ordered 3 unli chosun 2. We were just given 1 set of side dishes for the 3 of us to share. Their policy of 1 set of side dish per table must be changed. Even though its refillable at least give each customer their own set of side dishes for sanitary purposes especially for soup. It's like they dont like washing dishes or they have limited number of plates or bowls. I have gone to so many korean bbq place and this is the worst one yet. The staff were shouting and fighting and cursing at each other. Our server is always frowning and she seemed to be pissed when we ask for another batch of refillables and in a tantrum when she flips the meat making the oil splat to us and she didn't even care. They dont wear hair nets and on our second server even have her hair frying over the grill. The place is overrated and I would not recommend this to any of my friends.

Chosun Set (Samgyeopsal, Mokdungsim, & Hangjungsal) was our way to go. I couldn't tell what was what after the staff finished cooking for us. They all tasted the same...delicious! We wrapped the lettuce around the meat strips and dunked them into 2 of the standard dips before eating. I lost count of all the refills! We enjoyed the ambience, long conversations, food, service, and take-out grill smell afterwards. Budget was P400+/head.

Food tastes really good. Ate here thrice already. I just hope they'd have a better ventilation and a good exhaust for the smoke. Everytime we come eat here we always end up smelling like barbecue. Lol

3rd time here. The place is open 24/7 . Set menu at around 850-1,400, this includes unlimited side dish, veggies and steamed egg :). Meats are tasty even without condiments.
